Sing Yee Chinese Restaurant
The food is good; the service is exquisite. Sing Yee is now our go to late night restaurant whenever we have to pick someone up at YVR! I heartily recommend the peashoots in garlic, as well as the fried eggplant. The lychee tea was amazing as well.

Looking at the sign outside and even peeking in the window, this restaurant looks like a hole in the wall.Once we got inside it looked better and it quickly filled with people for our 530 dinner reservations.The food was absolutely excellent. We had a crab dish with thin noodles that was the best I've had anywhere. We also had the deep fried prawn balls, cauliflower and Chinese sausage, sizzling chicken hot pot, and an order of the crab winter melon soup. A very satisfying meal.The servers were extremely busy and seemed like they were moving very fast to keep up. We had also ordered a scallop tofu dish but it was missed on our order. The servers were efficient but I cannot give 5/5. Though I will say they were putting in the effort and they were just too busy. They probably need one more staff and it would be perfect.We also really enjoyed the tea. A very refreshing lychee tea. We liked it so much we inquired if we could buy some. They buy it in bulk so unfortunately that's not an option but one of the servers was nice enough to give us a little to go.Highly recommend this restaurant!! We will be returning for sure.

Great place.They have specials after 9pm.we ordered the clam and it was greatwe ordered soup-it was deliciouswe ordered milky desert- so creamy and awesomeservice by the 2 Boys were great. attentive and efficient.always ready to serve.definitely come back for more food.recommend anyone to come here.

Extremely tasty authentic Cantonese da laang dishes. The late night discount specials start after 9pm and though pricier than other competitors, the quality is better and the portions are generous. If you buy 3 dishes, it comes with a free large plain rice congee.Highly recommend the pea shoots in consomme which were so tender and rich, the deep fried silverfish, deep fried pork intestines, and honey garlic spareribs. The taste of the food was all on point and was so satisfying. Would definitely return.

The food was good- a bit too oily and expensive. Portions were fine, and the service was very good.It's a family run business, so they are very down to earth and casual. Atomosphere is not really for a date, but fine with family.Their washroom was clean.Food: 3.9/5Price: $$Comeback rate: 40%

Very reasonably priced restaurant. We came with 11 people and ordered 8 dishes and the total came to $225 after tip. Their peking duck is pretty well done. Like most Chinese restaurants, you can pick how you like your peking duck. We chose the skin wraps and lettuce wraps.For the wraps, they give you well cut slices with a bit of meat. I like this especially because there are some places that don't cut it well and leave not much meat on the duck and leave you with the skin only.The lettuce wrap dish's duck is well-seasoned and flavourful. My family said that this is one of the best they've had in a while!

Foods are excellent. Can keep up the standard most of time. It is very Canton/Hong Kong style dishes. A middle size dinning area but always packed of people. I suggested you always book the table before you go. Service has a room to improve, not the worse but not very friendly either. Therefore, if you do not care about service at all, this is the place you should go.

We decided to try Sing Yee for the boss’ s birthday dinner. We had reservations for 930pm but were seated 20 minutes later. The restaurant was busy so I had high hopes. Our server was attentive and friendly. We ordered plain congee and many dishes. Everything was served hot and yummy. Definitely worth trying out in Richmond!

Food rating good. Service excellent. Staff are nice and smart. Price middle range with lots of good food menu to choose.Parking is convenient. Place is easy to find.Open 6 days a week.
