Tranquil Moments Salon and Day Spa

My sister booked us pedicures here for my birthday and a weekend up at parksville. The shop was lovely and the front staff were very warm and inviting.. however, the woman who did my nails was not. I received a gel pedicure and she did not cure my nails properly. I unfortunately didn’t realize until i took my sock off that evening and the shop wasn’t open to have it fixed before heading home. I’m disappointed with the woman who made an otherwise amazing experience less pleasurable and left me with a ruined pedicure. 5 stars for everything else, 0 stars for Terry. :(

Therapist is a RMT and they accommodated a same-day last minute booking for BOTH me and my boyfriend—which I super appreciated, as they were the only available massage place in town that day. Very friendly and great massages (that we had much needed haha!). Thank you!

I am writing a review here since i sent an email with feedback and received no response.I was very disappointed with the quality of the manicure I received about a week ago. It seems like it would have been helpful to have the extra setting spray or dryers that other places have. After 1 hr my nails were not dry at all. It was applied very thick and gummy so it immediately started getting dents in it. It was still kind of malleable so I pushed them pack into place. I was offered at the time to get them redone - but i had hope they would dry more soon. Within another half hour there were several irreparable major dents and scratches in them. They were too thick and gummy. It is very disappointing to pay for something that lasts less than an hour. I would not recommend going here for manicures.

I was very disappointed with the gel nails I had done here 3 weeks ago. One chipped the next day. They didn’t last and they weren’t uniform. The gel was also applied uneven. I wouldn’t go back. ☹️

Visited spa for manicure and pedicure today. The esthetician was great but went over time as all my toenails were crooked and She had to refile. Also, I had to file my finger nails to get them straight and uniform. I was okay with this but I did not like the atmosphere when the Owner came in; it immediately changed to tense and negative. She wouldn’t smile and went in the back room complaining about how much time my pedi was taking. All I wanted was straight nails. I couldn’t wait to leave as the negativity filled the place. Just what you want at a spa. Spent over $100 and it was not a good spa day! Never again!! Felt sorry for the esthetician.

I recently visited this little spa for a Brazilian wax, which as we all know has the ability to be kind of awkward and uncomfortable. ASHLEY did an absolute incredible job. She made me feel comfortable and at ease but was so knowledgeable, kind, welcoming and very clearly had a high end skill level. I will without a doubt be back for her services and won't hesitate to recommend Ashley at Tranquil Moments!

I went in for a massage today with Ashley and it was wonderful. She was very personable and professional and made my experience lovely. I left feeling oh so relaxed and rejuvenated. Thank you!

The staff were delightful, and the service was excellent. The prices were reasonable. Would recommend!
