Pho Boi - A Taste of Vietnam
Food is average, service sucks. at least 4-5 of the dishes went to the wrong table. We ordered a fried egg, gave us a overcooked microwaved egg. When I asked them to actually pan fry an egg like we ordered, she said no, they only use microwaves here. What an true embarrassment to Vietnamese food. The pork patty was rubbery like a microwaved hockey puck, and the Vietnamese Coffee they forgot for 45 minutes and when it came they made us literally build it ourselves. They even left us with a pot of hot water to do it ourselves. When we said we didn't want to pay for the egg because we ordered it as 'a fried egg', I even said Trung Chien in Vietnamese (I ordered the whole order in Vietnamese), and not a microwaved one, the server had the audacity to lie to my face and say that when I ordered, I said 'just an egg', but in english. By those standards, I would expect them give me an uncracked egg. Not whatever hot garbage they gave us.These types of servers should honestly be the first to be replaced with AI robot servers. At least those ones know the right tables to bring the food to.Totally ruined Father's Day. WHAT A JOKE.

Great location, casual Vietnamese spot among other great shops on Fort street. Staff was friendly, somehow I didn’t have any clue on what Vietnamese curry soup was and they did their best to explain it to me without making me feel like an idiot. It turns out, the curry noodle in soup with fried tofu was the bomb. It was a spicy yet sweet, aromatic broth, a little oily but I’m guessing it’s from the coconut milk so I’m ok with that.We also had the beef and carrot stew pho. It was a beefy tomato-ey broth, with chunks of moist beef and al dente pieces of carrots, nicely seasoned but not too overpowering. My kid loved the grilled pork and deep fried spring roll on vermicelli with that side of nước chấm.Would go again for sure.

Very poor value for vegetarians. We ordered 2 vegetarian bowls and a vegetarian rice dish. Each one only had 3 pieces of fried tofu.

NOTE: Menu prices have increased. I have images of the NEW menu prices as of 09/11/2022.Fairly average and quick service. Servers are very polite. Location is quiet and clean.I got a large House Special Pho noodle soup". It has a generous amount of meat and lots of soup. Portion of noodles is surprisingly little compared to other Pho restaurants I've been to. The broth/soup itself doesn't have a lot of taste. Overall a decent bowl of noodles for $15.20.Expect prices for dishes ranging on average ~$15-20 per main dish as there was a price increase at this location."

Terrible. Online order and they forgot the beansprouts, basil, jalepeno and lime. The response I was given was that I could have free of the above next time I come in, in person. This was a $25 pho with tax and delivery fees.Worst experience in years and I’m sitting here hungry to boot.

Attentive and quick service, clean restaurant. Food was okay but fairly average. The toppings and meat had pretty stingy portions. I thought it was a bit expensive compared to other similar pho places but it is well located in downtown Victoria.

This place is my go to on colder/rainy/gloomy days or if you just want the comfort of a good broth soup.I’ve never waited to be seated, as soon as I’ve been greeted I’m seated right away which is nice when you are really looking forward to the meal.Service has been great and quick. No real wait to have your order taken and not much longer your meal arrives.I usually get the chicken noodle, regular size since it’s a pretty big bowl. Feel free to try the large if you’re extra hungry but I find it hard to finish a regular even though it’s delicious.I would highly recommend this as a stop if you’re looking for a bowl of pho.

Nice, spacious place is an advantage if you don't feel comfortable in tiny fast food with miserable paper/plastic tableware. Real tableware and chopsticks are at your disposal. Service is really fast and friendly. I would recommend this place.
