Librairie Carpe Diem, coopérative de solidarité

I'm an English-speaking tourist who went into the store looking for reading material in my language. They did not have any, but they were very friendly and knowledgeable. My wife, who speaks French, was able to get directions from them to a thrift store that had some English books. The store itself looked great and had a lot of selection in French. Definitely would recommend if that's what you're looking for!

Good library in upper Laurentian. Big selection of games for all ages, knowledgeable staff that can help you with your selection. Good selection of books for kids and for adults too. Fine paper and supplies. Kids friendly.Quite popular too: on our last visit due to covid restrictions they only allowed for 5 clients inside, so the kids were able to go and browse for their desired books and games, while I actually had to wait for other client to finish and leave. I was very comfortable doing so, knowing how good they are with kids and knowing my kids love this place and are comfortable looking for what they wanted / needed.

Wow! Awesome service. Group of 6 kids spent an hour reading/browsing through books and the staff happily answered their questions and found the books they wanted even though it wasn't clear they would make a sale.

Well organized with very helpful staff. Unfortunately for me there is a very limited selection of English books
