I had just finalized my divorce and was instructed by my lawyer to update my will. A friend of mine recommended Turning Point Law in Sherwood Park. I met with Andrew McLaughlin and he went through everything with me regarding my will. He took his time with me to insure that I fully understood everything that we were discussing. I was very pleased with the service that I received and have since returned to have them prepare a Travel Consent letter for an out of country holiday with my children. I would recommend this firm to my friends.

Our experience working with this firm is and will remain, the worst customer experience of our lives.My father passed away and while dealing with the arrangements afterwards (i.e. the will), our estate lawyer (Andrew McLaughlin) showed zero empathy and zero care, in the most difficult time of our lives. He was cold, disrespectful and is completely unfit for his role dealing with family estates. As a firm, you should be disappointed and strongly consider managing this, as it is forced our hand in no longer utilizing your services and making sure anyone else that contemplates it, never does as well. The death of a loved one is a difficult time and having to deal with a man with the emotional intelligence of a peanut is incredibly upsetting.Good Luck.

Our family has dealt with Andrew for numerous years. Our dealings have been exceptional. He goes as far as calling and emailing after hours to ensure we are up to date. Andrew puts his clients first and is fair with the hours he charges. I have had occasion to use Turning Point Law, specifically Andrew McLaughlin, three times. Once for drawing up a will, POA and personal directive for my mother, which was required sooner than anyone would have anticipated. Andrew’s advice and direction in setting up her affairs made my job as my mother’s POA, an easy, smooth process.My husband and I used TPL’s services and direction a second time for drawing up more intricate estate papers for us.
