The room was big and the beds were comfortable. The front desk staff were helpful .The rooms on the first floor were several steps up from the parking lot which made it difficult for a senior and a handicapped dog . Nice location , three to five minutes away from park and highway . Fridge and TV worked well, very small freezer. Bathroom was clean and modern, but tub was very slippery.

We we lucky to fall into this hotel. We thought we had a room for the night. It was an apartment. Kitchen, deck, deer in the yard and the sound of the loon. Thank you.

These bozos let us book a room at 830. we show up at 11 and they apparently closed at 8. a lady i found working in the kitchen woke someone up to help us but he told us to take a hike. we now are sleeping in the car.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Showed up after hours. Staff came to give me a room with no notice. And even made me a fresh bowl of Wonton Soup! Which was delicious. Room was VERY spacious. And clean. French press coffee for the morning also. If you are in the area, do not overlook this location!

The room was newly renovated. We walked to a public beach nearby on a new sidewalk. What a delight to meet six young deer munching the grass on the neighbour's lawns.

It is under new management. The hotel restaurant and reception area is under construction.Rooms are clean but had a strong smell of cleaning agent.I had much higher expectations from the hotel. The amount of money they charge is higher than the service they offer... so 3 star from me.

No front desk staff after 8pm is a joke. What are guests supposed to do if something goes wrong in room? Sign was very poorly lit no lights on the one side of it.Rooms are paper thin could people in next room having relations. Wouldn't recommend to anybody.

Pathetic service! Left me stranded in freezing cold!No communication on check in time closing at 8pm. I got to the hotel at 9pm and the office was closed and lights out. Literally nobody at the hotel to welcome the guest!I tried calling the the front desk phone number at it would take me to a recorded line that kept repeating “please email us”.I had to sleep in my car in freezing cold of -12 C. And next day when I called to get a refund, the manager argued and misbehaved saying “we cant do anything and you should have called and even if the lights were out there must have been someone inside”. I banged the door a million times and nobody came.Never recommending to anyone! Rude, mean and unprofessional!

I stayed here for two nights in early April this year; one night longer than I intended due to a snowstorm meaning I didn't want to keep driving that day. Quite pricey (but I guess that's the result of being in such a touristy place), but a comfortable room with a good view (when it wasn't hidden by the storm!), and the staff were very flexible when I asked last minute if I could stay another night due to the weather.

Great hotel, the owners and staff are very helpful. Excite rooms and overall vibe - I would definitely stay there again
