When we moved to Houlton we were fortunate to meet Dave Crane when he was installing new wood floors in our home. We were so impressed by his work that we hired him to help us restore this property. We replaced all the windows, the roof, remodeled the kitchen and one bathroom, replaced the stairs, repaired the foundation and then some. When we could not save the barn, Dave took it down and built a new one in its place. I often ask myself, how could we be so lucky to find a contractor who shows up when he says he will and comes in on estimate. The quality of his work is beyond reproach.

Dave did a kitchen renovation for us and we were completely happy with his work. He delivered on all my little requests to preserve the integrity of our 1860 home by fixing and keeping the original windows and doors and blending the new with the old. On the last day I even found him repairing a tiny piece of gingerbread porch trim that had broken off during the demolition. He's an honest, hard working, skilled carpenter with many talents. And he's also one of the nicest guys in town.
