Dr. Sarah Wuest has been my chiropractor for over 5 years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my care. She has helped heal my body through two car accidents, and the stress of completing Master’s degree, studying for my licensing exam, and starting a new career. Prior to seeing her, I was nervous to see chiropractors, but I always feel 100% comfortable and confident during her treatments. Active Balance Health Centre is a beautiful clinic, conveniently located and has flexible hours to meet my busy schedule. I was hoping to see a chiropractor at Active Balance Health Center and Dr Taylor Boyd was recommended as young, knowledgeable and a bright spark. I came in with hip flexor issues hoping to find a long solution. Taylor is great at assessing your needs, creating a plan, giving you homework and explaining as she treats you. I would, and have, recommended Taylor to friends and family.

Sarah is absolutely amazing! I wish everyone was as passionate about their job as she is. She is quick to find the root cause of the pain and works her magic to make you feel like you’re 18 again. She also gives you “homework” to ensure you stay pain free in the future! The ladies in the waiting area are super nice too and always have a smile on their face. Don’t hesitate giving Sarah and Active Balance Health a chance!

My physiotherapy appt with Leona Ham this morning has me feeling so hopeful of how my body has been showing up lately. I came in with sore hips, calves, ankles and feet. Leona was very thorough on our assessment and never made assumptions to what it could be. Through her investigation and knowing the engineering of how everything is connected and with some active muscle release, I am already feeling a difference and relief. Thank you so much Leona. The last couple months I have introduced Massage Therapy back into my wellness regime. Valerie is remarkable - from the moment I was in the clinic I felt at ease. She has intentionally created a serene environment whereby I could completely relax while she focused on the muscles and body work. A real win win!The massage techniques used by Valerie were new to me - not surprising as it had been many years since my last massage! Through her systematic approach to working through the body while incorporating a skin rolling technique, I became mindful of my muscles while simultaneously relaxing. Knowing Valerie has a background in Kinesiology combined with up-to-date education in the Massage field I am confident my body is receiving maximum benefits.
