Roy Foss Cadillac Thornhill

Hello All,Here is my 'lovely' experience with this dealership. Few days ago I contacted them to test drive a 2023 Cadillac CT4V Blackwing as I wanted to build one for myself. When I arrived at the dealership(I live in Barrie area) to my disappointment the car had to be put inside as it was raining with wet snow outside and could not let the test drive go as the car only has summer tires on it and which I thought was a very good idea to do so given the fact how powerful this car is and I wanted to test it out. So I told the salesperson Andrey Kozlov that I will contact him as soon as its a nice dry day and I want to test drive it and then build to my liking. The next day(yesterday) I contacted Andrey at 8am in the morning and told him I would like to come in at 11 to test drive it as the day was perfect for a test drive, he told me that he is busy for the whole day and that he can only see me possibly in 4 days(Friday) if the weather is good, I realized that this was a simple brush off(I am a young guy trying to buy a 100k car) so I contacted the dealership directly and asked to be put in touch with any sales rep that is willing to test drive the car with me and sit down and build it, the guy on the phone told he will call me back as he has to check something and he never did. So few hours later I contacted another dealership in Newmarket New Roads which they had a similar car to test drive and after I drove it today I sat down with a sales rep and placed my new build order. You guys really need to get your sales reps together.

My visit to the service department today was very satisfactory country to previous visits the new setup is very convenient and they have a new Lounge area with the free refreshment and Wi-Fi but most importantly my service advisor Douglas went out of his way and got my car serviced on time and handed it back to me in a very good condition in a very limited time thank you Douglas

I'm SUPER happy with my recent purchase at Cadillac Thornhill with Nick Navidi. Nick was more than willing to go above and beyond to meet all of my needs and worked with me patiently (over a few months) to acquire a great trade in value for my previous vehicle, as well as an incredible deal on my new Cadillac! So far I am loving my new vehicle and am super thankful for Nick's customer service! Five stars all around.

Beware Roy Foss Thornhill.I purchased a Silverado and experienced transmission issues under powertrain warranty. Aside from the very rough shifting issues which are still unresolved I experienced a worse incident. I parked my vehicle on a down hill section of a country road to go ice fishing. I placed the vehicle in park, shut it off and exited the vehicle with my keys (my family was still inside). I went to the back box to start unloading supples. After about 30 seconds the truck started rolling down the hill ! I sprinted up to the drivers door and hopped in. I couldn't steer since the steering wheel was locked but was able to hit the brake before it went over an embankment ! I was able to reproduce the intermittent issue a number of times and had a number of videos which I showed to Roy Foss Thornhill service manager on 2 occasions. Roy Foss himmed and hawed and gave me many excuses saying that if they look at it and can't reproduce the problem I would have to pay for exploratory transmission service" even though I had a video. Finally after much "discussion" they admitted (Feb 2023) that they did not have a transmission specialist at their location but said I was welcome to approach thier Woodbridge location but they would not assist in coordination.This is horrible service for a very serious safety issue. I would have expected them to jump all over this but they basically did not care that my under warranty VERY EXPENSIVE truck had a very serious safety issue. Wow! I was finally able to get the vehicle serviced under warranty from another Chevrolet dealer.Use Roy Foss Thornhill at your own risk!"
