Cafe Pyrus Outpost
I have been getting coffee here multiple times a week but today I had a poor experience. This cafe still automatically charges a 10% tip due to “unprecedented times” which I assume means covid (which is no longer a justified reason). Today, for the first time, I decided to opt out of the auto tip because it does not make sense to me for a takeaway order. The server was confrontational, and asked me multiple times what is the reason I decided not to tip. Its a personal decision and I should not have to explain why I dont want to tip just as I am not asked why when I do. She then proceeded to tell me that my actions were hurting only her, and making no difference for the policies of the cafe/her employer. The coffee which was then prepared for me after this conversation was the worst iced coffee I have ever had.Really unprofessional, I am disappointed and wont be returning.

Amazing location right off the spur line trail! Reminds me of little shops near the Niagara Parkway. Perfect selection for a bike ride - coffees snacks and ice cream!Also lots of bike parking with racks near the entrance (though it was full when arrived - a good sign!)

Went on our first bike ride down the Spurline trail. Came across this cute little cafe. Coffee was great as was the iced chai latte. Will remember this for the future.

Such a nice spot to have in this neighbourhood. The staff are always happy and helpful, and the coffee and treats are absolutely delicious - there’s not a bad choice to make on the menu. The markets in the summer bring the community together and it’s just such a perfect local hub.

Well, I experienced my first Latte at this wonderful play. It tasted delicious and I will definitely be coming back. The people that work there were amazing. The best part was finding out one of the people working there shared my first name.More importantly the staff was very kind and patient. Plus they made a real effort to try and help me as I am a bit of a newbie. Thank you again for this wonderful experience!

Nice little café by a trail with good coffee and tea options and tasty treats. Among the tea options, their icy London Town is heavenly!Although this café is famous for its many non-dairy milk options, it has dairy milk and cream as well. Please note that the coffee itself is tasty but is a bit strong. So, if you are not into strong coffee I suggest you get yours in a small size.There are a couple of benches outside the cafe for seating.

I stop here once and a while taking a quick break from biking on the path. Never disappoints. I had the cappuccino and a gf v date square today. Both were delicious and I am not intolerant to gluten nor am I vegan.
