Reitzel Bros by AGS Environmental

During a bathroom renovation I discovered a piece if drywall marked Fire Retardant and I was concerned about asbestos. The drywall in question was installed in the mid 70’s by a previous owner. I called Reitzel Bros and I had someone come over the next day to take a sample and provide an estimate. I had the results back in one day and it was positive. The gyproc itself does not contain asbestos, but the compound used for covering the seams and screws does. The removal was booked for the following week. The crew arrived and were efficient and starting setting up right away. The supervisor was with them to answer any questions and to make sure they new the scope of work. The job was completed in a few hours and every bit if building material was removed and the area was completely cleaned. They are experts at this and we feel 100% safe with the job that was done. Great customer service and follow up. I would recommend them to anyone with an asbestos concern.

Our 60+ year old Gymnasium had floor tiles that contained some asbestos which AGS Abatement and Environmental Services Inc. removed in a very professional way, on time and with very good communication during the whole process. Very happy to recommend Ron Canjura.

Very happy with the service provided by Reitzel Bros. They responded to my request for a quote the same day and testing services were completed within the week. Ron was friendly and very helpful in explaining the process.Luckily our tests came back negative, so we didn't need to use their abatement services, but I would definitely use them again for future testing.

We had Ron and his team do some asbestos abatement early this spring. His team was professional, kept us apprised of the work being done, and did an excellent job at removing all the asbestos. They even coordinated work with our electrician to work around both schedules. Definitely recommended!

The Reitzel Bros are one of the most professional, and efficient companies I've ever had the experience of working with when contracting out house work. They had removed asbestos soaked title and mastic from my basement; and in under two days, all work was completed, the work area was cleaned, and the house was as immaculate as it was before they started [in hindsight, the team drove over 100kms to a new city in the middle of a snow storm to complete the work]. And that is not mentioning their competitive prices and other services. I cannot express how easy and a peace of mind it was working with Felipe and the rest of the Reitzel Bros team.

I was very impressed with the service Nelson, Reitzel's estimator gave us. He responded to our phone call promptly and visited the same day and provided us with an estimate the next day. Every time I contacted Nelson he responded quickly. The crew he arranged completed the job in one day. The crew did an excellent job removing the asbestos siding and the site was cleaned up before they left, even the flowers in the flowerbed were intact.

We had Reitzel Bros do some level 1 asbestos removal from our old home in Guelph, and I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for asbestos removal. The entire team was very courteous and seemed to be happy at work - some even sang happily as they worked on the demolision. Prompt, on time, on budget, and a pleasure to work with. I know little of asbestos removal protocols but they did seem careful in the removal process, donning full protective gear, sealing off areas of work, etc. Also, they came recommended by the lab that initially did our asbestos testing, so that in of itself seems like a strong recommendation.
