Hooper’s Pharmacy

This pharmacy is a complete joke. I ordered a refill for a Compund prescription the lady on the phone took my $70 payment but failed to tell me the ingredients were back ordered, she could have given me the option of waiting until it was back in stock before she charged my credit card. I called again to see if there was any way I could get it earlier than the date they gave me , spoke to another lady who said she would call me back to let me know if they could get it from another pharmacy, she didn’t call me back and I ended up having to call once again. Another lady told me that the other lady was unable to get it soon and it would be available to me the following week and gave me a date , called back on that date to pick up my prescription to find out it’s still back ordered for another 2 weeks , nobody called me to let me know this . I requested to have the manager call me and still haven’t received a callback yet. The fact that this is for my health and this pharmacy is treating me this way is very disappointing and shocking , they clearly don’t care about people’s health and clearly not concerned about their customers. I wish I could give this place 0 of of 5 stars….

Customer service and staff at Hoopers Port Credit are awesome. Shefali went over and beyond to get me a supplement I needed. It was on back order and I needed it at short notice before my trip. Appreciate the effort...thanks again Shefali.

I've been coming here for over 15 years (originally at the previous location), and have never had anything but excellent customer service. My prescriptions are ready in a timely manner, and I receive excellent directions. Thanks!

Until I discovered Hooper’s I thought all pharmacies were created equal. Wrong!!!There are your typical pharmacies that just take what they get from the drug manufacturer, put a label on it and collect their dispensing fee. Then there are compounding pharmacies that can actually make compound medicine for you. Then there’s Hooper’s Pharmacy which is not just a compounding pharmacy but also sterile to ensure that the medication you’re getting is safe and accurate.Best of all, they charge you about the same dispensing fee as regular pharmacies for their compounding services.I was recently given a medication which needed to be watered down from the regular manufacturer formula, meaning it had to be compounded. I called a couple of pharmacies and nobody was able to do it for me. Even a compounding pharmacy in my neighbourhood wasn’t able to do it for me as they weren’t sterile. That’s when I discovered Hooper’s and am ever so grateful they exist.Since it’s a little out of my area, I was able to email my prescription and pick it up the next day.

This pharmacy has been serving Port Credit for decades. I discovered them after a skin cream I was prescribed was irritating my skin. They determined that it wasn’t the medication itself but the carrier cream that was the problem. I was given three different carrier creams to try including the one I had currently been using. Sure enough it irritated my skin when the other two samples did not. They made a custom mix using one of the carrier cream samples that caused no irritation. Problem solved.The service is old school, in a very good way. The pharmacists are never too busy to assist in answering any questions. The natural health staff are very good. The selection of great quality natural health products is very good with fantastic pricing. Brands carried include: Designs For Health, Pure Encapsulations, Thorne, AOR and Metagenics to name only a few.This is a compounding pharmacy (they also fill regular prescriptions)for humans and pets. This is very important to note since there are so few in the GTA. Compounds require at least 48 hours (special creams etc.) so make sure to order with enough time remaining for repeat prescriptions. I’m not aware of any other GTA pharmacies that make compounds for pets.This pharmacy has an excellent points program as well.Insurance coverage is accepted. Dispensing fees are competitive.I strongly recommend Hoopers’s Pharmacy.

Hooper's has been a Port Credit pharmacy for generations. Knowledgeable, professional pharmacists and experts in vitamins and supplements. Friendly staff and convenient 7 days and evenings business hours. Highly recommended.

Very poor and irresponsible customer service. I have request a acid reflex medication my new born medication 5 days ago. I went to their twice in person. and called multiple times. after 2 days I have been literately told that they want to secure a payment first before working on it". I have paid right away which was 56.10$ while the other pharmacy charged me 32.03 and made it same day. After 5 days of me calling and checking on daily basis. I called them and they were like oh it's on a shelve here and ready. I was like why didn't you call me and let me know? she made up a story on the spot "oh it has sticky note on it says pickup today and that's case we don't call"."

Hooper’s is really the quintessential neighbourhood pharmacy. They have everything you need and the service is great.
