Saw Ali Wong here in the summer of 2023.It was a great experience. The lines look huge outside but security had us moving quite quickly.Concession stands on each floor for easy access to drinks and snacks. Selection is limited, however.Seats are a little crowded but I think that is to be expected for a old theater.Good sound quality but don't expect any extra monitors or screens so pick your seats wisely. It's not like a hockey game or a concert where you can watch on the monitor.I think the only thing aside from some additional leg room that would have made the experience better is if there were some extra attendants to help direct people to the right floor and space.

I always love this venue! Staff are helpful, quick, and always kind. The layout is perfect for large groups and rarely does it feel too crowded. The ledges around the edge of walkways are excellent for pre-show mingling. Also — having sound from the performance playing in the bathrooms is such a special touch & keeps you included even when you need to step away to answer nature’s call.

A Memorable Night at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in VancouverIntroduction: The Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver is a beautiful venue that offers a memorable experience for anyone who enjoys live performances. I recently had the pleasure of attending a concert there and was blown away by the atmosphere, acoustics, and overall experience.Atmosphere: From the moment I walked into the theatre, I was impressed by the grandeur of the space. The stunning architecture and elegant design create a sense of sophistication and elegance that make you feel like you're in for a special evening. The seating arrangement is comfortable and spacious, which allows for an unobstructed view of the stage from anywhere in the house.Acoustics: As someone who appreciates good sound quality, I was thrilled with the acoustics at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. The sound system is top-notch, and every note and word from the performers was crystal clear. I was impressed by how well the theatre balanced the sound, so even during the most dynamic and intense moments of the show, there was no distortion or feedback.Overall Experience: The Googoosh's concert I attended was fantastic, but the Queen Elizabeth Theatre made it even better. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the theatre was clean and well-maintained. It was clear that they take pride in providing a world-class experience for their patrons. If you're looking for a memorable night out in Vancouver, I highly recommend checking out the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Whether you're a fan of music, theatre, dance, or comedy, this venue is sure to impress. I can't wait to attend another show there soon!

I've seen countless concerts there, and it is a fantastic venue for both plays and concerts. Great view points and ample leg room even for tall me. One of Vancouver's gems.

Beautiful venue. Gorgeous. Saw Hamilton here. Clean and well taken care of. Lots of staff to help with directions and seating. And a good variety of snacks, albeit expensive (typical as it is). There’s lots of places to eat nearby. As well as ample parking.Cons: the seats are very tightly situated; very snug. The washrooms get super backed up. I think next time I’m there I won’t hydrate until after the show. Lastly, the sound was muffled. I couldn’t make out the artists words. Fortunately, I had memorized the whole thing well before the show.

Nice theater with good acoustics and lighting system. The place is not fancy. I strongly recommend coming in warm clothes because the air conditioner in the theater is freezing. I came to the performance of the musical Cats and I really enjoyed it, a performance at a very high level. The show started around 5 minutes after the hour it supposed to start. There is a restaurant near the theater, reservation in advance recommended.
