***** TRANSPARENCY *****The best part about these guys is their TRANSPARENCY. They have a TV in the waiting room to see what's happening with your car. Never ever seen a mechanic with this before.Service is great as well.Must go place, specially for students, they have very friendly pricing.I'm new to Oshawa, called in many places, but got craaaaaazzy prices. No one is reasonable.

Highly recommend! I came to get a vehicle inspection on a car before I bought it and they took their time to thoroughly check the car and he was extremely honest and realistic with me which I respect a lot. It’s my first time buying a car and not only were they super helpful with the inspection but also recommended me to a couple places where I can find a car in my budget. I’ll definitely be making A good 1 my go to mechanic shop for all my needs from now on!

So initially when I brought my car to a dealership and they told me the repair was over $2,000 due to the age of the vehicle and I have a feeling that they were wrong so... I call A Good 1 Mechanic and they told me to bring the car, I towed to them and guess what... They put the extra effort to do a real inspection and now I'm driving and the repair was something very very simple.I will recommend 100% this shop don't hesitate! Your car will be treated very well.

During this winter, my car wouldn't start, thinking it was a dead battery. I searched online for a good mechanic shop in my area, and this was the closest one, i thought I'd give it a try, and honestly, these guys were awesome ! They came by within 10 minutes of the call and boosted my car, as i was driving to the shop, they already ordered the battery, and within 30 mins my car was working beautifully. Super professional, friendly and these guys know what they're doing ! No funny business or anythingHighly recommend, and now i know where I'm going if i have any car issuesEasy 10/10

This place came highly recommended by a trusted friend who shares same views as me. One of the things I highly value is honesty with diagnosing what issues my car has and what next steps are. Prateese and his team not only hit those but went beyond my expectations. They diagnosed my car issue, gave a cheaper cost than other places, and provided exceptional services in just 1 hour. When my car didn't turn on when i was driving home from work, I was desperate for immediate assistance. So I was so surprised when they not only took me in within an hour of calling the next day, but got the job done efficiently and fast! I ended up fixing another part from them, due to their service and honesty. Everyone is so knowledgeable, knows what they are doing and most importantly, cares for their customers! I will definitely be bringing my car here for all needs!! Highly highly recommended!!!!! Exceptional service and outstanding customer service!!!

Doug is very knowledgeable, tells you exactly what's needed and gives you a fair price. Then when you go to pay the bill, he manages to beat his own quote by a significant amount, while also taking care of a couple small things on top. And he was able to schedule me in the next day for getting the work done.Highly recommend him. He's won my business for the foreseeable future!

They were very friendly, professional, thorough and upfront. I want thank all of those at A Good 1 Mechanic for their help in giving me a quick, accurate, friendly and professional service job for my vehicle this afternoon. Angie in the office is very friendly and thoroughly explained my invoice to me upon completion of the repairs. The service was very quick and way less stressful compared to when I take my vehicle in for service at the Hyundai dealership. I also want to thank Dougie for searching for the best deals for my replacement intake manifold. He also did a thorough check of the vehicle and made me feel confident in his services provided. 10/10 would recommend coming here and I will be back again when I need my vehicle serviced!

I am pleasantly surprised by the quality and the professionalism that Prateesh and Doug brings in for their customers. My car had big time issues with the transmission system but now it runs butter smooth - thanks to the team. I was diligently informed about all the details along the way in repair process. On top of that, they really went above and beyond when they offered a free day rental as parts were taking long to come by and they even cleaned my car up (from all the junk that I collected over the time) ..
