This is the best spot for a memorable date. Had a clay private lesson with Toby - the very accomplished artist behind the Hive. We had a great time and had some wonderful clay art to bring home to remember it by! Queer and trans friendly.I made a mug for my cat (she is fancy like that) and it turned out wonderfully. 12 out of 10 would recommend! Intend on coming back again!

I was surprised for my birthday with a class at the Riverdale Hive. Toby was amazing! Very knowledgeable and made our experience so enjoyable.I’d recommend a class to everyone!Thank you for making my birthday extra special! Can’t wait to pick up our creations.

Booked a pottery date for my boyfriend and I and we had a great time! Toby was so wonderful and we got to make 4 pieces. 10/10 definitely recommend!

Wonderful experience at the Riverdale Hive. We had multiple sessions and each time, Toby provided dedicated attention and instructions. Toby was accommodating and flexible for our sessions. Very happy with my pieces, highly recommend the experience!

Had a great experience at The Riverdale Hive with Toby! She was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. As someone that doesn’t have much experience working with clay she made sure to guide us through every step of the process and we were very satisfied with our creations. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to get creative!

My partner and I had a wonderful evening here yesterday for a Date Night. We had never done pottery or ceramics before but with some friendly, easy to understand instruction we were able to create some nice pieces. It was a great evening of 1:1 instruction with such a friendly and personable instructor. We left feeling like pros and can't wait to see our end products.

I went with my friends for 2 hour of pottery. It was my first time and I didn't have a lot of idea of what to expect. Toby was extremely nice, she taught us to make hand clay pots and mugs and then we also got to do wheels. The whole experience was so relaxing and Toby is a charmer and such a sweet person. She made us very comfortable and enabled us to be more creative. I would highly recommend to come with group of friends and family.

I have loved attending the ceramics classes here for the past 6 weeks and will be purchasing more classes. Toby is great! She teaches essential hand building skills and fosters creativity. The Riverdale Hive is a welcomed and much needed addition to the neighbourhood.
