Living In Harmony

When my boyfriend and I moved into our new place, we were bombarded with the task of finding a home for everything we owned. This resulted in us throwing items in closets without much thought, just to get things out of sight out of mind. Our intention was to get things organized eventually. But of course, things always come up that get in the way and become a priority. That’s when we knew it was time to bring in Rachel. Making the appointment and having her in our home forced us to finally make the time and get things done.I am so happy with how beautiful and organized Rachel made our space look. Areas of my home that I didn’t even think were a problem, and had resigned myself to believing that’s just how it was, Rachel saw the potential and created something wonderful. It surprised me to see how much space we gained as well! Thank you so much Rachel!

Cassandra was an absolute joy and so easy to work with! Organizing after moving from a different country while figuring out my life here was a different chaos altogether! Thank goodness I met Rachel and was able to transition so easily. Within 3 hours all my clothing went with ease from suitcases into a small apartment closet.It’s been over a month now, and I have really learnt how to organize on my own and I put everything back in the same place. I loved how easy Cassandra made it to transition into my place.One of my favourite moments I’ll take with me is when we were discussing how to put some of the things that I might not really use or want, but couldn’t decide if I wanted to throw them away and put them into the bedside table drawer - and Cassandra was like “No! Everything has a home and we do not want any junk drawers anywhere in the house”.I’m carrying that mantra with me for life.I will continue to work with Rachel and Cassandra from time to time to maintain the organizing magic! I think I can speak for most of human existence when I say moving is a stressful experience. Add in relocating to a completely different part of the globe, and I was on the verge of pulling my eyelashes out one at a time. Rachel and I tackled my dreaded closet and dresser as I had let it become a hurricane the past the two years.When I came back from my travels earlier in June, I knew I wanted to overhaul every room in my house and live in a more peaceful, inviting space.My anxiety and mood are greatly affected by my surroundings.Rachel came with so many ideas and a passion for organizing I have never seen, and we transformed my room in FOUR hours.I cannot say enough things about her and how in love I am with my room.

I worked virtually with Rachel on clearing out my storage unit, since I had been out of the country for several years.Rachel FaceTimed me and we went through all my possessions and decided what was going to be donated and what items were going to be kept. After deciding on the items I wanted to keep, Rachel mailed them quickly to Nova Scotia, where they will be stored until I return to Canada.She did everything so fast! Marie Kondo, who? I think you mean Rachel Delduca- the tidiest angel ever, sent from heaven to help us mere mortals tidy up our houses, and ultimately our lives. Rachel came into my new home and tackled more than I knew one person could. She helped me organize and stay organized. Rachel was great because she is very understanding of the things you want to keep but is also very helpful when you're unsure. She knows exactly what she's doing and has great, crafty techniques and tips. We had a very efficient and lovely experience! She was a joy to work with. I recommend Rachel because she has great ideas as well as awesome style. Her style makes me wake up smiling when I look at your room or bathroom.
