Dahlstrom Manor Apartments

Very pleased with our experience! Our agent, Darcella, helped us a lot before we moved in (we booked this place from Colombia), she hold our apartment for us so we could move the same day we arrived to Canada, we didn't even need to pay holding deposit or anything despite the fact we were not even in the country! Darcella was also always prompt with answering emails and when our patio door broke, she sent handyman to fix it a very same day. Unfortunately, we had to move back to Europe urgently. We gave our notice too late and despite a very limited time, Darcella once again arranged everything and found a new tenants within a few days since notice given. This saved us money we would had have to pay otherwise for an extra month due to late notice! She is definitely the best of best out there! Villa Vista, #102

I've been in and out of mainstreet buildings for many years. Mostly I've been pretty happy and the price is very low for a half decent rental company. Darcella is very good at her job and although she is extremely busy and probably way overworked, she keeps her buildings in good shape, seems to pick great tennants, and and is by the book which I respect.

If I could give zero starts I would.This company is horribly managed, probably the worst in Abbotsford, BC. I had set up a time to meet Darcella Fox to view Bridgeport Manor and she never showed, I had emailed her earlier to confirm, then called and texted while standing out in the rain with my two children waiting for her and no response. I've still never heard anything from her and that was a week ago. This same apartment has been posted to Craigslist every day since so it has not been rented out yet.They also have many, many postings on Facebook Marketplace for apartments that aren't available in buildings that have no occupancy at all and they're all posted through a third party rental company. So annoying! Avoid them and do not give them your hard earned money!

I felt discriminated against as a person with disabilities, was not given proper information to get my application in, and communication with the property manager was one sided. She would never call me back when she said she would and I felt as if she was not interested in really renting the unit out. Even after everything, she tried to get me to rent a apartment that I could not afford. Do not use these people...Update: I have been reading the reviews that have been left after mine and this company is fake! You guys can try to get all the people you want to leave 5 star reviews but it doesn't change the fact that you don't help people at all... You should be ashamed of yourselves!! Also, if you were so concerned owner" you would contact me to resolve this matter

Did not give proper 24hrs notice to show my place. I was in and out of my place one day and did not see any 24 hr notice on my door. The next day I woke up to my land lady and some ppl to look at my place. Surprise surprise and notice magically appeared during the night.

Lived here for 5 years and on the 1st day realized the horrible mistake I made. I put a damage report in which consisted of a leaking fridge, pipes that never drain (internal issue I have plumbing experience and have went through all the pipes) she also tried charging the people beside me to fix it when it's a landlords obligation, a hypodermic needle was stuck into the wall and no less then 4 days later after telling her, it gets cleaned up, but nothing has been done 5 years later about my initial damage report from day 1.... I am now moving out finally, why I waited 5 years I can only attribute it to stupidity.This place is the ghetto and an expensive one at that.TAKE MY ADVICE AND DO NOT RENT WITH MAINSTREET.

Dont stay at the dhalstorm manor. Its totally bs and the manager is a crazy lady too. She was hell bent on kicking my guests out saying i had subletted. They never get back to you about the stuff you need fixed. Trying to take advantage of people who live here. Please dont make the mistake of renting out a place in dhalstorm manor please.

Can't really seem to know what the Bad reviews are about. This is my second month renting with them and they have been pretty awesome.They can be a bit pushy on the paperwork but at the end that's what sales is all about.

Bartek Pietras is the worst, most disrespectful, scrawny midget I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.Not only was he disrespectful towards me, he felt the need to intimate and bully my 2 kids. I've never had so many bed bug and cockroach notices from any apartment, other than the mainstreet building, he openly brags about managing. I honestly don't know where mainstreet finds these unprofessional managers like bartek Pietras.Avoid at all costs.

Open listings are rarely accurate. Property managers don’t respond in a timely matter and often they don’t respond at all. Two property managers didn’t show up to viewing appointments.
