Amy's Daycare & Out of School

Where do we begin to express just how truly grateful we are for Amy’s daycare and their amazing team. There truly are not enough words but we will try. Before enrolling our daughter into daycare, we explored every option in Mcconachie carefully considering each centre’s philosophy on teaching and whether or not we felt the staff would be a good fit for our overly active daughter. And while there are certainly other wonderful daycare centres in Mcconachie, it wasn’t until we walked into Amy’s daycare that we knew what it meant to teach from a place of love, rather than policy. I vividly remember the first time I came to check the location. I immediately knew that our daughter was going to be enrolled there. Amy’s heart, her passion for educating little humans and her kindness was evident in everything she said to me that day – and since then, that passion, kindness and heart has guided everything that the staff do while interacting with my daughter. Amy is committed to providing a safe and engaging environment where love is at the forefront of everything the staff says and does. They have done more than caring for my daughter, they have helped her to be a confident vocal toddler and for that, we will be eternally grateful. Deciding where to send your child for 8+ hours a day can be a very stressful decision, but Amy’s daycare made it an easy one. Any educator can teach your child to read and write, but it takes a very special kind of educator to teach your child how to be confident and kind while loving them unconditionally – and that, is exactly what every educator at Amy’s daycare does.

My 4.5 year old boys have been there 6 months (home before). As a social worker I have encountered a lot of scary stuff. Amy's is amazing, the staff truly care about and know your children. My boys often ask to stay a few more minutes and the staff always know what's up with every child. A number of long term staff who are clearly experienced. Plus options like lunch programs and vans taking the boys to kinder in Sept. And the cleanliness exceeds expectations.The best place I could imagine to care for my kids!

I’m unsure why people are so hard on this place. My two kids love it here and have so much fun that they go running in to their classrooms each day. I’m in constant contact with the staff, greeted every time we enter the building kindly and warmly, and the staff were ALL SO welcoming in helping my shy girl with the transition. The educators work so hard with the kids and really truly care for them. They are doing the best job they can. In regards to the Covid-19 protocols, the facility is kept clean, kids wash their hands often and the food is kid friendly and healthy.

Since day 1, the staff here has always been accommodating and absolutely wonderful to my little and myself. Every day since, pick ups usually take a little longer since my little has to hug all his teachers and tell his one and only fav teacher that he loves her lol!! The staff here are attentive and they treat every kiddo like they are their own. Keep up the amazing work ladies!

I am disgusted with this daycare and its owner. While I didn't have many issues with the staff, the owner, on the other hand, made my daughter seem like a burden. For context, my daughter has some developmental delays, and Amy has blamed everything from the team quitting to going on stressful leave because of my daughter. Multiple times my child has come home with diaper rashes so nasty she would have open sores and be in so much pain, she could hardly walk. When I brought this up to Amy, she would gaslight me on the issues and tell me my daughter made everything complex for the staff. Even though we had workers there assuring us and updating us on the leaps in progress our daughter has made. Please reconsider sending your children to this daycare, if you can even call it that. This has been one of my worst failures as a parent allowing this person to care for my child, and I hope no other family has to deal with such incompetence.For a daycare that prides itself on inclusivity, they are far from that, especially when dealing with children with special needs.

Amy’s Daycare has been the best experience for our boys.The teachers are so caring and understanding with them. The transition for our older boy was tougher - but the teachers made him feel welcome and now he loves going to see them everyday.Watching them grow and learn at Amy’s make me so happy. To know they are in a safe and caring environment is such a relief as a parent.Best.

Staff are very nice and extremely friendly to all children. My son has been with Amy's daycare for quite some time now and he enjoys it so much.

Wonderful daycare and amazing staff. We were very nervous sending our two young children to daycare while returning to work and the staff was very understanding and patient. They honestly made the whole transition very easy and relieved a lot of our stress. Our littles are very happy and in safe hands and that's what's important. The staff is always available to answer any questions. Highly recommended! Love Amy's daycare.

My son loves all the staff here. Never had a problem. Everyone nice and patient. Space is great and they have a nice outside playground.
