Cherish Monuments & Urns

When I entered Cherish Monuments in search of an original design for my sons headstone George approached me with compassion and insight. He worked with me to combine our ideas and bring them to life. My sons headstone looks exactly like the sketch. The work is nothing short of amazing!I was so impressed by his character and one of a kind sand blasting that we also worked together to design an original granite coffee table for my home. George listened to my personal design ideas gave me advice and was very patient when I made changes. The end result leaves me very happy and thankful to have walked in his business during the worst time in my life.

As my wife's plot was north of Kingston and being from the Peterborough area I got on line and found Cherish monuments & urns in Kingston, Family run, all work done on site, no middle guy.I called George and I made the 2 hr. trip and met that day, went over the details of what I was wanting. I had an email with a proof picture of the monument with a nice touch George added that was perfect within 24 hrs.From that 1st call to dealing with municipal permits and being installed on site was just short of 4wks.I might add that George is the owner and also the artist with endless ideas to help you with while sketching up your project and a he and his wife are down to earth people to deal with.Many Thanks to Cherish Monuments. Tucked away in a quiet part of the plaza, Cherish monuments is a gem we discovered at the right time. We could tell George was very passionate about his work & helped us to bring our ideas together. We had a terrific experience with George in designing and preparing our future cemetery marker. If we could, we would definitely give George 10 stars. He took the time to explain the differences between etching, and lasering, indicating, that while etching has been the norm for many years, lasering has a longer lifespan, enables much more content to be reflected on the granite, and is very easy to clean, should it ever become necessary. He helped us to compose and choose images (which could be actual pictures should you choose).His prices are very very fair, and you would be hard pressed to find a more competitive establishment. He also completed the job in a very timely fashion.We were so impressed we also chose to have George prepare plaques to be attached to our handcrafted wooden urns.Thank you George for making this so comfortable.Sandy & Gerry, Perth, ON

George has a lot to offer at his place of business . It’s not just headstones, I was actually very surprised at the many different items one can use when it comes to a cremation process . He is very talented and helped me in choosing the monument for my mother. He can carve pretty much anything you may wish on your loved ones monument . I highly recommend him during the most difficult and stressful time of your life.
