Kiren and Brooke Have taken me step by step through the legal process with patients and perseverance. they have answered every question professionally and promptly. I have gotten respect and kindness every step of the way. the billing is respectable and fair, I've never felt once like my hard earned dollar was not going to good use. so please take my recommendation and give Oakley a swing, I have high confidence they'll fence it every time.

Oakley Family Law should be at the top of your list when you need help with life’s most difficult situations. I had a challenging separation and an even more difficult child custody dispute.They were not my first call. I called three other firms first, all were “too busy” to take me on.When I called Oakley Law, I explained to them my situation and they were able to see me promptly. Gary and the group worked very hard and we came to a resolution with custody in no time. The only reason we could not finalize sooner was the time it takes the courts for family matters.I also had to sell my home and although they couldn’t help me with land titles they recommended another firm which finalized things an just a few short weeks. A fine example that even if they don’t have the means to help with your specific situation they know the right people to call.My life is difficult and busy, and Oakley Law has given me the guidance and help I so desperately needed. They always contact me when things progress, and are always able to work around my schedule when it comes to in person meetings. Their service and care is incredible.I highly recommend Oakley Family law to friends, family, and anyone reading this review.

My experience was rather unique. My initial consultation left me feeling relief as I felt Melissa was very knowledgeable and professional. Having said that. I was working with a lawyer and she left the firm and then I was passed onto Ms. De Waal. She was very nice and easy to work with, however there was so much miscommunication and misunderstanding that took place immediately afterwards.I was disappointed because Ms. De Waal was attempting to resolve my separation extremely quick not taking in account very important details. I was upset because she didn’t follow up or ask me about any of these important details. I understand that at times things happen out of control, however being thorough and thoughtful is very important being a lawyer.This resulted in me leaving the firm with a full refund for services rendered.

When I was blindsided by a separation I didn’t know where to turn. I contacted Oakley Family Law and met with Melissa who explained the process to me and assured me that everything was going to be okay.Between Melissa and her assistant Sharon my situation was handled professionally and within a timely manner, nothing was too much trouble for them when I had questions.Everyone at Oakley Family Law was friendly, helpful and welcoming when I had to go to the office, even Jet, the office dog.I cannot recommend Oakley Family Law enough.

Kiran & Brooke helped me navigate my divorce very smoothly. Their approach was both helpful and knowledgeable without making me feel overwhelmed. They were responsive and communicated everything clearly. I recommend them 100%.

Costs were high, several “typos” and inattention to details caused delays, rework and a lot of back and forth messages due to their error (an I’m sorry I won’t charge you for our mistake should fix it, right?) and refiling with the court. Seemed they forgot about the file for weeks at a time - they didn’t even send documents when complete. Just an email with an attachment that looked like it came from an 80’s fax machine. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

Kiran, Brooke and Sharon have been super to help with the challenging situation our family has faced. Divorce sucks so its a 4/5 review, but thank you for helping to navigate Court and being supportive and respectful as its very difficult to deal with everything. All any of Us can do is support our children and be understanding and kind thru this process.
