COMMENCAL CANADA

An absolute nightmare dealing with this company. Bought an FRS frame. Took 6 months to get it. Frame bent after 3 months from a pretty mellow case. They were very reluctant to give me warranty. Ive found lots of evidence online of people bending these frames in the same spot. I will not buy anything from this company again.

Worst customer experience I have had.I bought a new bike from the Squamish location in spring of 2020. Barley rode the bike that year in the bike park due to Covid.As soon as I started using it in the spring of 2021 I was experiencing some resonance. The bike frame was vibrating when braking.I visited Commencal twice. They told me there was nothing wrong with it. Gave it back to me in the same condition. I took it to 3 different mechanics at other stores and they all told me that they thought I had a ‘lemon’. Commencal spoke with all the other mechanics and the same information was communicated. Commencal did not want to listen.Commencal then told me it was a brake issue. That I needed to change the brakes. They offered me a terrible discount on new brakes. I went elsewhere and purchased new brakes last year, 2022 to give them the benefit of the doubt even though I knew they had no idea what was going on and didn’t want to take accountability.Nothing has changed. Now I have two sets of perfectly good brakes. The bike sucks and so does their customer service. To me this was an easy fix, do the right thing and help your customers.So many emails were sent and received. I was and still am shocked about the whole experience.Don’t bother replying to this Commencal.It’s all excuses.

We drove a long way to Squamish just to pick up a bike. They have great bikes and they are very helpful when we were undecided which bike and color should we pick. Excellent customer service and product knowledge.

I rented a bike from Commencal today and the experience was quite enjoyable. The bike setup was perfect thanks to their bike mechanic Corben. I would highly recommend a bike rental from this place if you are in the Squamish area.

Great bikes and incredible support from Jeremy. He was so helpful explaining what might/could use replacing over time and servicing my bike. Seriously the best support I’ve ever gotten from any bike shop. Commencal, he deserves a raise!

My son has now purchased 2 bikes from commencal and they are incredible bikes! My son has been riding for 10 years downhill and we have used many BIG bike shops with so much disappointment In Squamish, but not from Commencal!!!! The customer service we have received and the attitude of everyone working there is above and beyond!!! Not to mention the amazing warranty we got and a super fast turnaround. My son has never been happier then on your amazing bikes !!!!

Just picked up a new bike from them today and customer service was amazing. I opted for the bike in box option because i didn't want to pay $50 for assembly, and i was just going to put it together in the parking lot. But they insisted i use their repair shop and let me use their tools and gave me a hand setting it up. Super friendly and helpful, and they make great bikes.

I pre ordered a bike with commencal a month ago. Since the order I’ve called them at least a dozen times and sent emails, trying to get more information. I’m a fan of the bikes, but the customer service doesn’t exist, from what I can see

I bought a former demo bike, a 2018 furious essential Aug. of 2020. I liked that the website was up to date and accurate. I liked how most of the time they answer the phones and my questions. The guy i dealt with, who i think is the owner seemed cool and was happy to answer all my questions. it was a positive experience and I love my bike
