Costco Tire Centre

We used to get our membership for the use of the tire center, but it seems to be getting worse here to the point where we are looking for other options. Hopefully, it starts to go back up to the standards and customer service it used to have

The only reason that I was considering to change tires there is the low price. I was booked online successfully and went there ahead of time. But without luck, I was not able to get my tires be changed as I had the brand new tires purchased anywhere else not Costco. It tooks me a while to understand this weird tire changing policy. By the way, it is not also not a pleasant visit when I was there to get my new membership card. And, for the premium gas, with 10% ethanol, I don't find anything that makes Costco membership a must thing to me now. Fairwell, I will go Canadian tire,esso,shell for gas, Walmart,metro,no frills,sobeys, Loblaws,etc for groceries, shoppers for drugs, winners for clothing and many many more.

Terrible experience. I had to change my seasonal tire which were already on rims and these guys took 3 hours to do it. All this when appointment was booked way in advance. In spite of this they advertise that appointment have shorter wait time but in reality it doesn't matter. They prefer and attend customer first who are there to buy batteries or tyres. .Forget to mention after changing tyre they asked to run car for 40km and come back for torque check so wasted another 40 mins.Never going back

Wait times are horrible. They never phone you when your car is done. Coming back to get your tires torqued they make you wait like 10 minutes they ignore you. Not cool. They don’t answer their phones either during tire change over. The only plus is the price. You would expect me h better customer service from a membership only organization.

One year ago this spring, I had a local shop balance my summer tires. I was experiencing a shake close to 120km/hr. They charged (If I remember correctly) $65.00 for 4 wheels, and remarked that one rim was warped, and one rim was severely out of balance. The car drove marginally better, so I deferred the rim replacement. Fast forward to this spring, when I mounted the summer tires/rims on the Vehicle, I was getting vibration at anything over 90km/hr. Brought it to Costco....total cost of balancing all 4...$20.00. (Plus $3.00 for a couple of Polish sausages on buns). Was told all 4 wheels were out of balance, but no mention of a warped rim. Net result: Took the vehicle up to 160km/hr for a silky smooth ride. My hat is off to the crew at Cosco! Would recommend any day!!! Thanks, Guys!

Be careful using this tire Centre. Both my husband and I had the same experience. We went to swap winter/summer and were told that the tires to be installed were damaged beyond repair and had to be replaced. Meanwhile, they were inspected the previous season at Costco with no issues reported. It seems these guys may be damaging tires in order to sell new ones. Or they’re not holding themselves accountable for damage caused by technicians. For both of us to have had the same experience is suspicious. Again, be careful.

Straight forward cheaper than your dealership pricing for synthetic oil change.

This tire centre is great! We have bought several sets of tires from them for both ourselves and our family. Recently had a road hazard issue and they resolved it perfectly! Also one of the best places to get car batteries. The Kirkland Signature brand of auto batteries has a good reputation.

My dad went for an oil change and tire exchange and they fully forgot to put new oil in. Had my dad not noticed, he would've drove away with no oil in his car. Just this past Sunday I was turned away from a tire exchange because my tires were brand new from the dealership along with my new car. Kevin was unhelpful, and left me scrambling to find accommodations elsewhere.

Ordered the tires one week ago, they took the money, scheduled to install today, arrived on time and after I left the car, they called oh we didn't receive them, we need to reschedule.Of course they didn't order it all, because if you 9rder online you will get them less than weekThey should have at least respected their customer, called and asked not to come for nothingLack of respect = lose customers = bad reviews
