First time visiting, I hate to say it because most the reviews disagree but it did not meet my expectations completely. The meat was not as well done as I’d like and less meat than at most shawarma restaurants. Just based on this first visit I give this place 4/5 stars.

This was almost certainly the best sandwich I've ever eaten. The meat is noticeably fresh. The bread is fantastic. The lettuce is crisp and green instead of limp and rusty like I'd come to expect from fast food sandwich shops.And the FLAVOUR! Why are so many places afraid of flavour? The bread is brushed with seasoned butter before toasting. (At least I think it was butter; my mouth was watering too much to ask.) Seasoning is applied liberally throughout. The garlic mayo doesn't just suggest" garlic

New favourite spot to eat in london, id drive all the way from burlington to have lunch at abes. Ive had it before and thought it might be a 1 hit wonder, but no this time was even better than the last, crazy good food for amazing prices and the coolest owner, he made me his favourit bbq beef sub and it was the best sub ive had in my life.

The courtesy and the quality go hand in hand. The prices are better than fair. Listening to the regulars come in and just how much everyone cares about everyone was so refreshing. A Family run restaurant that treats you like family. Thank you. We will be back, often!!

First time there, and I was blown away! Fantastic service, food is AMAZING hands down. The garlic spread they use is delish, and wedges as a side...the best side I have tasted in a long time! I WILL be going back, make it my go-to place for subs!
