Had a negative experience with one of the staff; tall, curly dark hair and glasses. Two days ago I purchased an inflatable neck collar as my dog was having issues with a cone. I specifically asked if it didn’t work it I could return it and was told yes. My dog has a large sore on her cheek that bleeds whenever she scratches her ear/face. The product didn’t work so I went in to return it today. First she overreacted to my dog peeing in the store. Then she recommended bitter apple. My dog can’t lick her face and it would sting. When I went to the till she said I couldn’t return it as I blew it up. How am I supposed to try it without blowing it up? It was clean and in the original packaging as requested. Another staff person, let me return it.

I have gone to this fine store many times. Recently we adopted a kitten and went in to gather some items. A young lady helped us pick out some items and recommended a bag of kitty litter that she uses. It was the best litter I have ever used. You do get very good advice from the staff. The owner is also there often. She is a lovely, helpful lady. In my opinion the best pet store in the Okanagan.

I went in to buy several items but the lady was so unfriendy I left with only 1 thing. The worst customer service I have had in a long time.You really need to do a customer relations course. What differentiates the many pet stores from each other? I could have been a ‘true’ customer, had you not been rude. I spend so much money on my dog, you really missed out. And dogs will mark. Learn about your customers.

Great Please helpful staff Great Place to take your dog for a wash you do it yourself! They make it so easy to do! I definitely recommend this place if in the area I'm definitely taking my dog there regularly

Was wowed!I’m new to the area and was looking for a place that can clip my dog’s nails. The employee was the sweetest, friendliest lady and spoiled my dog with treats and a gentle nail clipping. My dog is usually shy and a bit fearful but gentle, she did great and enjoyed her treats:) I guess my dog’s nails weren’t too long and I wasn’t even charged for our first service. I will definitely go back for nail clippings and to purchase treats!

I was at the Rose Valley park walking my dog, Dozer. It was raining and he got covered in mud. A lady at the park mentioned the dog wash at PetPlanet. It was a life saver. Dozer got clean and a baggie of free treats. Apparently they give out free biscuits on Fridays. We also saw this cutie.

They only offer 1 towel to dry your dog so bring your own as well. Ridiculous. Plus you pay by the minute after 10 minutes.

The older woman with short grey hair (which I believe is the owner) is terrible to deal with. The first time I dealt with her I was trying to return an expensive life jacket I bought for my dog and it didn’t fit. She didn’t want to return it and made a big deal out of it. This just put a bad taste in my mouth as we are new customers and new the area looking for a quality pet store. The second encounter I had with her, I went into the store with my partner to get some things for my cat. We were never greeted or even acknowledged. We couldn’t find the product we were looking for so we walked out. She then opened the door as we were outside in the parking lot to ask if we needed help. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. There’s too many pet stores in Kelowna to put up with customer service like that. Highly recommend sunshine pet supplies instead!!
