The owners are great! Sean is a great trainer for several kinds of training: police dog training, obedience training, as well as hunting training. Also a great place to leave your dog while on vacation.

What an awesome place! My 7 month old German Shepherd came back a different dog after a week. Not only obedience and leash training but helped with her socializing with other dogs. I highly recommend their services.

I dropped off my son's dog to diamond in the rough on Sunday, and was very impressed with the people looking after the place. They genuinely like animals. As soon as I got there the lady who is in charge came over and introduced herself and made an effort to ensure that my son's dog was comfortable.Each dog has a little area where they can go outside and get some fresh air. In this area which is fenced in they are able to see the other animals who are also they are for a visit.It is very well set up.

People there are great with the dogs. I have boarded Pepper in a few places and he always came home sick and had to be brought to a vet. This has never happened here. I would not even entertain taking my dog anywhere else

Sean and Eve are amazing people. Their love for animals is amazing, we are so happy with our Lab we got from them and how he's cared for when he's there. Sean is an absolutely talented trainer, thanks again you two!

I just picked up my 5 month old pup from Sean at Diamond in the Ruff, after being there for a month. I got to visit him once a week, where I got trained on what Joey was taught the past week. Sean is an expert at what he does, I highly recommend. I will definitely bring him back for boarding whenever I go out of town.

Sean and his staff are unreal.You're dog isn't just a number in the machine when it stays at Diamond in the ruff. They love every dog and care for them.My dog just got back from a month long stay for training for the upcoming hunting season and I am shook how much he progressed. I came there with no expectations but if I had any it wouldv exceeded them.Sean truly is a dog whisperer and can help you with anything training related.Best in the province, if not the country.

Diamond in the Ruff Kennels
Sean and Eve have a veritable “Diamond in the Ruff” with their dog kennel and training facility. We are new to their training but will be committing to the process this summer and following their advice. Our dog showed unbelievable responsiveness to Sean and his approach within the first hour. We are going back. They truly understand and care about the mindset of the canines in their care, and us humans can certainly learn a thing or two along this process.
