Very tasty and different from typical places. Great to taste the local food! I had the salmon salad and it was delicious

It looked nice on the outside and and the inside walls were filled with original oil paintings with prices shown $$$$ from a local artisan, Besides the oil painting the interior was just white walls with little decor. The menu was simple featuring home made food but the taste was simple and lacked flavor and presentation. The menu features breakfast, lunch and a basic dinner listing. The service was lacking and the waitress rude to simple questions. Di not recommend eating here. Find some place else.

Came across this place as we were driving by. Dog friendly patio which was nice but the service could be better. We had to wait a while to be seated and were not greeted by anyone nor talked to for 5-10 minutes which didn't seem right. However, once we sat down the rest was pretty smooth. My boyfriend and I both got the ham eggs benedict and it was sooo good! The hollandaise was perfect and the ham was think and delicious! The food also came with lots of side fruits which was nice and a side of toast with butter which we didn't expect! I believe that the meal also came with a free drink. I got coffee and my bf got orange juice and they were both good. Again, service could have been better because they didn't explain this but I guess it was a nice surprise.

I booked an Airbnb at Saint-Roch-des-Aulnaies and there is no place to get food around within walking distance so I decided to have a super early dinner at Saint-Jean-Por-Joli. I went to this restaurant and the staff was super friendly. She let me took my bike on the porch since it was raining. I ordered canard confit, it’s a bit dry but the salad was very fresh. It’s a lovely restaurant.

The food was just okay, nothing special, while the prices seemed to suggest otherwise. We were in a bit of a rush at lunchtime, but there were 3 servers and the place wasn't full, so we thought it wouldn't be an issue. Except it was. We stood waiting at the sign asking us to wait to be seated for at least 5 minutes. We said Bonjour and smiled at 2 waitresses, one of whom was just standing around sipping water. Maybe seating people isn't her job, but she could have said to us that someone would be with us shortly or to seat ourselves at a clean table. We were finally seated and given menus but it took forever to have someone take our order. We stared down each staff member who passed by but they didn't even look in our direction. One waitress didn't look up at all. The service deserves 1 star only.

A place that looks so much better than it ends up being. Service was awful, food was ok, prices were high for what you get. Disappointing. You can find much better value at a local casse-croute along the 132. We won’t be back.

Excellent service. Very Friendly. That includes the kitchen staff. Prices are a little high but well worth it for the quality of product. The art work on display is all locally created and is for sale.
