Went here tonight before heading back home. The whole meal was amazing definitely stuffed. Service was fast. Will definitely be back next year when up for the Highland Games

Not as good as we remember. In Antigonish this month for convocation and since we were from halifax, took the opportunity to go. My steak was grisly and chewy, potato was undercooked and the garlic toast was a half of a hamburger bun toasted with garlic. The fish and chips (baked potato substitute too was undercooked) and the fish was like ground up haddock rolled in a tube and deep fried. The batter was so thick in places it wasn’t fully cooked. It looked terrible and had no taste. The one good thing was the onion rings for starters but we were told they were store bought so how could you mess those up. The other OK thing was the cole slaw. Will NOT be back.

Ribs were fall off the bone, not fatty and tasted delicious. Fries were perfect, crispy but not burnt or soggy on the inside. Service were great! Would recommend :)

Quality is slipping! It had been at least 3 years since we had eaten here but we remembered it being a great restaurant. We were looking forward to eating here! 1 out of 4 meals were good! 1 steak was on the salty side! Steaks were perfectly cooked, baked potatoes are actually boiled and than wrapped in aluminum to pretend. Desert (apple pie with ice cream) apple pie was not hot. I hope that they don’t allow it to keep making mistakes because it will eventually cost them.

We went for the Feb 2 for 1. Food was good. The price was very fair and at a two for one deal it was well worth it.Our waitress was wonderful. Friendly.The atmosphere is simple. It’s about the food. The serving size quality and value.We had the steak supper and apple pie for desert.Recommend you pay a visit.

Waited almost an hour for a table. I ordered the fish and chips, made the fries into a poutine and a starter dish of onion rings; the onion rings came out and I think I got 10. They were as good as always. The downfall, was the fish and chips. The fish seemed a bit overcooked with what seemed to me to be a bit excessive on the batter. The fries were well done, my only complaint is the gravy. Seemed like they hit the bottom of the barrel with it and instead of adding flavor, they added water and flour. Adding ketchup did nothing for it, maybe wasn't enough ketchup. The shocking part, was when the bill came. Between me and my 6 year old, it was $60 plus the tip. Service was spectacular like I remembered.

One of the best restaurants between Sydney and new Glasgow - a must stop if you’re passing through the area.Stopped in today with my dad, sister and my dads friend. Staff are friendly as always and food is always delicious. Our waitress quickly fixed a few issues with our food and replaced my burger no problem :)

I've been here twice, and both times my family and I got our food incredibly quickly. Our servers were friendly and provided exceptional service. Their food, especially their ribs are deserving of their reputation. Because of this, the restaurant can be very busy, so you most likely have to wait a while. Overall, a very good restaurant!
