I had the pleasure of working along side Neil and his crew for several years as their electrical contractor on a wide variety of projects. They always pulled the appropriate permits and insured projects were completed to code. I have since moved on to the inspection field and see dozens of sites daily. I had Constructing Concepts fix up a deck that was in bad shape. Every step of the way they were very transparent with the costs of the project. The price was very fair considering the lumber costs right now.Neil always communicated with me to make sure the project was going well and the carpenters Brad and Jamie did a great job on the deck. Neil does quality work at a fair price and timely manner. The renovation of our bedroom, bathroom and exercise room was exceptional and just as we picture it! He went above and beyond even installing an infrared sauna I had previously bought. Even to this day I call him for any repair needed in the house, although he specializes in construction projects, knowing that I will be in good hands. We hired Constructing Concepts to renovate our old and extremely basic basement and were absolutely delighted with the results. Neil and his crew completely finished our basement. Completely transforming the space into one of our favourite spaces in our home. He added a bedroom, a 4 piece bathroom, kids toy/work room, wet bar/kitchenette, additional living/sitting space with fireplace. During the renovation he was efficient in managing all the required sub-contractors and ensured our project stayed on time and on budget minimizing the stress on us and our family. He was also extremely attentive with our needs and patient with us throughout the project when we struggled with last minute design changes and/or decisions. Neil's employees were also very professional and were mindful of the fact we were living in the upper parts of the home during the renovation and kept the project neat and tidy throughout the process and ensured that the rest of our home was not impacted by any construction mess. Neil communicated with us throughout the project when minor changes were required and kept us informed throughout the process. Neil has an extremely high attention to detail and holds himself to a very high standard and it shows in his finished work. The finished product was everything we dreamed our basement to be. We had a powder room renovation that entailed taking the small room down to the studs and then building it all back again. Neil was able to take my ideas, add practical suggestions that made the project better and then implement everything. We are really pleased with the work and it was a pleasure to have B and J in our home. B created a beautiful custom live-edge countertop.
