Jim's Cafe
Classic no bs diner food and feel. The food is basic. The coffee is unmemorable. The portions are decent. The prices are reasonable. The decor is worn and dated and the staff treats you with slight indifference. It’s perfect!I come here for breakfast every now again and know exactly what’s coming.

Great food, charming atmosphere, impeccable service. Ordered Jim's bun and the cheesecake - I think the bun itself could have been a little better but the fruit bowl was delicious and the cheesecake delightful and wonderfully flavourful. I swear that the background music was a legitimate mix tape - yes, on cassette! I will be back again to try more of this menu

First time I ate breakfast in restaurant in Canada! Just typical breakfast from omelette, coffee, and hashbrown.. my favorite is with the beef.Love the food and the service.. i would recommend if you bring a car here, just park across the street or behind the restaurant (they have street parking). Come earlier if you want to have breakfast here, otherwise you have to wait because the place is a little bit smaller.

5 stars for Jim's Cafe being good at what it is. A nice, basic cafe. Nothing fancy. Prompt happy service. Food always comes hot as soon as it is ready. This means one person may get served before another at the same table. This is no problem, we just use the first plate as a sampler until the second arrives. Good for simple breakfast, sandwiches and burgers. We like to support our local businesses.

Since the waffle house closed have been looking for a new lunch place in New Westminster, and I think I have found what I was looking for. It's not fancy or the biggest menu but for breakfast or lunch it's perfect. It's an old style diner. Good food at a decent price. Will come again for sure.
