I recently saw Tony for my hair color and cut, he is extremely professional and such a kind individual. He really takes his time to get the results that his client is looking for and is such a genuine person. I have very dark hair so I know its a challenge to get the color/highlights right. He did a wonderful job and I am very happy about my hair!

I just recently finished the Powder Ombre and Microblading course with Mona. I love Mona's teaching style. She is so lovely, kind and gentle to her clients, students and staff. Her 1-1 teaching is awesome. She is such a sweetheart. I got lots of hands on while learning. Mona is amazing and motivational. I highly recommend Mona Hair design for an amazing learning experience.

I had a wonderful experience with this place. Tony highlighted my hair with the color and style that I wanted. He is very professional, patient and kind. I will definitely go there again. Since, at the end the result was even better than something I could imagine!

I would like to share my experience when i went to Mona Salon for hair cut and colour. My hair was black and needs to be bleach to achieve the colour blue. And they did. Unfortunately i noticed that the bleach was too far away from the root. Which is ideally 1/2 inch away from the root. Mine was 3-4 inches. ( please see the picture) i was with my client and she also not happy with the haircut and colour that she had. We paid $480 plus 100 tip. After a week we went back to fix my client’s hair. (This time i dont have plan to ask them to do my hair again.) but Tony kept on coming back on me and approached me saying that he wants t fix it. He gave me an assurance that he will be the one who’s going to do it. He bleached my hair again and applied the colour. (Here comes the worst). Instead of putting BLUE he applied RED!!!!!! I felt terrible when i saw that. He realized that he made a mistake so he brought me to the shampoo area and applied blue on the of the hair. It was clear that the two colour was combined and turned into purple. It was and AWFUL experience. It ruined supposed to be birthday gift for myself. People was shocked when they saw my hair. Telling me that “that doest look like you’ve been in salon. “I thought you did it on your own. “ i already lost mg confident and cried a lot of time. 2 weeks after i tried to phoned Tony and asked for refund. Instead he said “we dont do refund” i found it very unfair. He also denied that he made a mistake. Well it was very obvious in the picture. In my humble opinion I DO NOT RECCOMEND this salon. I paid $300 and obviously not worth it.

My friend Tanya recently moved to Vancouver and was searching for a salon. I suggested Mona Hair Design but she was not sure and was very nervous. I joined her on the first visit and let her explain to Tony what she needs. Tony took the time to give detailed explanations and his opinion. In the end we were both pleased beyond belief and highly recommend visiting this salon.

He went above an beyond to make sure I get the hair colour I asked for! He worked on my hair till 10 pm to change my hair colour from black to ash blond! He is supper nice, caring, patient and he cares about keeping his customers happy!
