Shop was recommended by a friend of mine, named Freddy, took my 2017 Honda Civic Hatch Sport Touring there for service; Oil Change, Transmission Fluid & bought new Snow Tires, everything was prices fairly and the tires have been great this winter! On top; they work fastI also really like the layout of the waiting room and their waiting couch is comfy to boot (might of fell asleep on it as a ''waiter'' aha)Everyone I've spoken too are friendly and straight to the point, which is greatThe cars outside also show that this shop is ran by actual car guys, which is nice as I trust they'll actually care for my car while in their hands given their hobbyI'm definitively going to go back there for futur services/modifications

After being tired of extremely poor service in my area I decided to go a little further after being recommended this shop by a car guy friend who tracks his car.This garage is worth your time and money. These are competent mechanics who will set you straight. I never felt rushed in the slightest and had plenty of opportunity to discuss the work being done and potential future work with the mechanic.Once you use this place once you'll be glad you did.If you own a sports car these are the people to see in the Hull side of Gatineau. The mechanics are into cars too and own performance cars they know what they are doing.I appreciated the clean and spacious customer area too you don't feel cramped and uncomfortable waiting.Very happy and will go back again for sure.

Amazing experience every time. Rod's Automotive is a shop with workers who are passionate with what they do. I moved to Ottawa a year and a half ago and a friend recommended Rod's for any repairs, maintenance or projects. I figured it was a bit further out being in Gatineau, but i'd give it a shot. Ever since my first visit I've felt like a friend to the shop! They take good care of you, are honest with their pricing and will give you a detailed breakdown of what is required for your car, how long it will take, and what they can do for you. I highly recommend people check out Rods Automotive, genuine, honest and trustworthy people.

Exhaust leak was fixed properly, had a new rad put in as well. Everything done properly and at a fair price. From the first time I spoke with Max (I think that's the name) I got a very good impression. That was only reinforced by the work done. Whether or not the rad had anything to do with it, my windows are no longer frozen shut in the winter. Big bonus. Have no hesitation in recommending Rods Auto to anyone here, and will do the same within my circle of friends.

Fast service, friendly bilingual staff, and very reasonable prices. They squeeze me in whenever I am in a pinch! Super grateful for this garage.First experience with them: I have larger than standard rims on my Ford Escape and was having huge trouble finding reasonably priced winter tires in the area from canadian tire, costco, and other local garages in the area. Max and Brandon found me perfect tires, imported them from Montreal within two days (at no extra cost), and I ended up paying half the price that I was quoted elsewhere!!
