Thanks Andrew for teaching this rookie fly fisher a few things to get started. I came in to buy some flies for a few bodies of water in the area. I have no idea what to use. Andrew was very helpful and friendly. Seemed genuinely excited to help me get started. I will be back

Out Fly Fishing
My friend and I took our first ever guided day in the summer of 2021 and had an amazing experience. My friend caught his PB brown trout and rainbow trout. We caught lots of big fish. The lunch was amazing - a hot shore lunch when all I expected was cold sandwiches. The guide taught me so much I'll be remembering all the tips whenever I go fishing now.

I had high expectations and without a doubt they were exceeded! From the very beginning- setting up the trip, answering my litany of questions before and really caring that I had a great experience~ Top Shelf service! Luke is a great guide. I really enjoyed spending the day on the river with him and appreciate his patience and guidance. Your Bow River trout are mighty and humbling. I will be back.

I have placed online orders from these guys 3 times now and every time it has been great experience. My latest order I got email letting me know some items were not available. Darlene let me know when product would be back in and even sent pictures of other product that may work. In the end product showed up when she said it would and we completed my order and its on the way. That is service!

I would recommend these guys to anyone interested in Fly Fishing! We had the pleasure of being guided down the Bow River by Luke and Mike, two expert guiders. These guides went above and beyond to make sure we had the experience of a lifetime. From taking care of everything from flies to food, they also shared their abundance of knowledge which truly helped us perform better on the water. Each one of us left a better fisherman and more excited to get back out on the water.

My husband and I have been many times to the shop and have always felt very welcomed but today we had a very different experience. The fellas there while they may be very knowledgable all three of them seemed rather standoffish as if we didn’t belong there and we were being a bother. We both made the same comment after leaving the store and felt quite odd about it. I hope we are both wrong in the feeling that we got when we left as that certainly wouldn’t be great for business. I don’t usually do reviews but because I have known Josh for so long perhaps he should know how his customers felt after a trip to his beautifully renovated store.

Best fly shop in my opinion, this is the only shop I go to and am never disappointed. I come in here not only to shop but to talk with the guys, they are all very friendly and helpful! Never tried their guides or trips yet but might try it out sometime! I love their huge selection of patagonia and other quality equipment. Tight lines!
