Rogers Italian Bistro | Ottawa Ontario Canada | Roger's Italian Bistro opened on May 21st, 2013 at the Ottawa train yards. We are a second generation of restaurateurs with 25 years of experience in the food industry, groomed by our parents who have been in the business for over 40 years.

Roger's Italian Bistro
Ordered a lasagna, chicken parm and penne sausage. Pretty good food. Sauce doesn't seem homemade, but it's still okay. My main complaint is the lasagne. Took a picture so you can see that they really just layer 8 to 10 noodles and pour sauce underneath and on top rather than layering sauce/cheese throughout. Would have appreciated that knowledge beforehand, but its not the end of the world. Food was hot when I picked up and customer service was good. 3/5 stars.

First order from this restaurant. The food was pretty good considering it was delivered and took a bit extra time. The portions were generous and tasty. There are. A couple of other items on the menu I wouldn't mind trying, but the Fettuccine Alfredo was quite yummy.

We were there for a birthday party. The kids requested a take out container for the leftovers which they provided. My granddaughter asked if she could have another container as she really liked it and wanted to make a special craft for her mom. I said to her that i would ask the waitress on our way out. I asked the waitress if it would be possible for my granddaughter to get 1 little cardboard container. She replied Sorry no we cannot do that!" I was so disappointed after we spent over $100 dollars gave a very good tip and they could not provide one small cardboard container for my granddaughter. We will not be going back any time soon. Very poor customer service!"

Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Extensive menu from Italian to sandwiches and salads. I have the shrimp linguini which was pretty good. Good place to stop for a bite while out shopping.

We fell upon this restaurant when trying to find an alternative to our original choice and I would deffinetly come back here and recommend!! The food was amazing!! Reasonably priced and perfect portion (the lasagna we had wasn't pictured but looked still amazing) I had the seafood linguine (amazing), my son had the lasagna he ate it so quick and my grandma had the veal marsala the sauce was a bit too liquid but it's flavor was amazing! As desert I had the cheesecake which was very delicious and my grandma says the carrot cake is very moist and excellent ! Lastly the service was very amazing the women who served us had a beautiful smile and she was exceptionally nice !!

Average ambience, and food.Prices maybe a little bit on the high side ($2-3) comparing to other similar restaurants.Little dissatisfied on customer service as the person who were helping us showed some annoyance due to our questions on some special menus and ingredients.Particularly, I Didn’t find anything special.We tried chicken Marsala, Fettuccini Alfredo & Lasagna. These were very mild comparing to the other restaurants from where I had the same dishes.It depends on how much flavours we like as an individual.But some restaurants would do customs on falcons as per customers requests. Looks like they do not do it either.

My sister and I took our mom here for her birthday a couple of days ago and we enjoyed ourselves the food was good my sister liked her veal. We were seated towards the back area which was nice because it got busy in the front the waitress was polite and attentive she wished mom a happy birthday it made her happy the restaurant has a nice atmosphere it's a decent spot.

Best Italian restaurant I've been to in a long time. Thank you google for recommending it. Food was excellent. We had the chicken parmigiano and combination plate (veal or chicken parmigiano, lasagna and spaghetti). Strongly recommended. Eva offered us excellent service and contributed to the overall great experience. Will definitely be going back.

Lunch....had chicken wrap with chef's salad. The wrap was warm and tasty. Tge salad was crisp and a big serving. Cost was $19.Comfortable chairs. One concern... it's dark in the eating area and washroom area. Server was pleasant.Got a nice greeting when I arrived.

My wife found the place and took me out for a birthday lunch. It's a nice place, comfortable but not overly fancy. Food was really great especially when you consider the price. Our lunch combo was only $14 for a large salad and lasagna. Hot buns were served as well. There is a large variety of items on the menu, including a tempting dessert list.Service was friendly. We would definitely be back.
