Hi-Tech Vacuums

We brought our Electrolux vacuum last week to have the cord replaced. The vacuum was working well at that time. Hi Tech called my husband and mentioned that a ‘few’ other things might be worth replacing so my husband told them to hold off on extra repairs and that we would talk about it first. In the meantime, we expected Hi Tech would replace the cord, as requested.When we arrived at the shop to pickup the vacuum, we were astonished to find out that Hi Tech disassembled our vacuum into parts and had thrown the entire machine into the garbage! That was NOT acceptable. They were not instructed to throw away our perfectly-fine vacuum . We do not believe that it ‘wasn’t working while it was on your bench’ as stated to us. If that was the case, it is because of something Hi Tech did to it.It is appalling customer service to a) throw away a vacuum without authorization. b) Not offer to immediately fix or replace the discarded vacuum once your error was discovered. c) Charge the customer for labour to put together the vacuum once you had fished it out of the disgusting dumpster!We expected the vacuum to be immediately cleaned and reassembled into good working condition and that we would pay for the replacement part (cord) that we originally asked to be done but felt because of what had happened, they could waive the labour charge. NO ! Hi Tech charged us the full amount for the part and the full amount for labour ! even commenting well

I manage a restaurant at ski resort in the interior of BC. We fit approximately 150 people in at lunch and we can do upwards of three flips in a 3-4 hours period. Dinner isn't as busy but in a day the whole restaurant can see close to 1000 people come through our doors. We had always used the 100 vacuum from the box store and they lasted for a couple of months before they were garbage. After the third dead vacuum I decided to give in a buy a Hi-Tech Vacuum. What a difference! The restaurant gets clean and my employees take pride in making everything look good. We have maroon carpets so if it's dirty, you see it. The service has been great as well. If there are any issues I can get them resolved in a day and as a manager I can focus my attention to the business and not a dirty floor. It's worth the investment.

We were in the market for a built in vacuum, we contacted Don late on Friday afternoon and said we couldn't get in until Saturday. Although he was closed he took time out of his schedule and met us early Saturday morning. He spent as much time as WE needed to answer all our questions with no rushing us to get us out the door being that it was a day off for him. We purchased a vacuum from him and have nothing but great things to say... would recommend him for any vacuum needs you have.....

Great help my vacum was unfixable but he went over what they offer without any pressure. Thanks will be back for sure

We have a barbershop with a old, but reliable central vacuum. Our shop has a lot of business and gets dirty quite quickly. We rely on the vacuum to run. We had Hi-Tech service the equipment and they did an absolutely amazing job. The service was top notch and quality of workmanship was great. The vacuum is now running better than it has in years. Best place to buy a vacuum ever. We purchased a central vacuum from them after having a Beam that was constantly giving us trouble. We did not want to spend anymore money on it, nor did we want to buy another one but didn't know what else to purchase. We went into Hi-Tech and their vacuums sounded like exactly what we wanted. We bought The Brute. Instead of the dirt going into the motor, it bypasses it and doesn't damage the motor which is what happened with our Beam. The vacuum bag is not filthy on the outside of the bag either when changing like the Beam was. We have had our central vacuum from Hi-Tech for about 3 years now and could not be happier. Glad we found this great company.

Quality of the vacuums here is above what you can find anywhere else. Great customer service to help me find the ideal vacuum for my budget, willing to make it work. And the fact that they can do service work is great. My vacuum was a refurbished one I got at a great price and it works unbelievably well after using it A LOT for 2 years.

I purchased my built-in vacuum from Hi-Tech Vacuums a couple of years ago. It works great and the service from Hi-Tech was great too. However, I had a problem with the wand attachment… for 2 years I struggled with it and complained, called John and Don at the shop who assured me they would help me find a solution. We’ll, today is the day! I dropped in to their new location and within minutes I had a telescopic (adjustable) wand that works like a charm. These guys are the BEST! They look after their customers, new and old. I highly recommend supporting this business. Hi-Tech is the best!

We purchased a new Sebo vacuum cleaner on October 31, 2017 and we were very pleased with the service we received by Texas. He went over the complete workings and features of the vacuum and answered all of our questions satisfactorily . We never felt pressured to purchase, nor did we feel rushed out as it was near to closing time. Since then , we have used our vacuum, and we are very pleased with our purchase. We highly recommend going here when you are looking to purchase a vacuum .

We just purchased a central vacuum canister from this store. The salesman came in on his day off (he opened the store for us, as we are from out of town) and took the time to explain the features and different models. He gave us everything we needed to install the unit. Great product line, and great service. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for a quality unit at good prices.
