I got the shrimp 1/3 pound feast and an appetizer order of shrimp/lobster mac a cheese. $7.5 and its the same size as a side of mashed potatoes.. For almost $26, not very impressed with portions. The shrimp is the only decent portion for a $17 meal.

I wondering how you guys can service this kind of food for human ? I don't mind if the piece of fish is broken bc during delivery is inevitable. But a piece of crispy fish that turns black and soaked in oil is really disgusting.

There's great service but the food presentation could be improved. Flavors were OK and there are some good options for the price. It's definitely not what I would consider a fine dining experience but it's an OK place to grab a lunch if you're into something casual. Vegan options

Ordered from this place first time was excited halibut was extremely over cooked very rubbery shrimp was good though. The coleslaw was off smelt and tasted like gym socks.

I needed something quick before I ran back to work and the takeout I received came surprisingly fast. The restaurant was clean and the hostess was friendly during the few minutes I was there.My food was excellent and freshly made. Definitely coming back here if I forget my lunch again.

So disappointed with my recent take out order at Capillano location. I used to get a 3 piece fish take out order at this location at least once a month for lunch for the last several years. I have NEVER got home with my order just to find it in the sorry state it was in. The batter on the fish was no longer crisp; it was soggy and unappealing, and the fries were all limp and wilted looking. My opinion is that this location has switched from using the traditional paper bag for takeout to using a plastic bag and by the time I got home, the food had all sweated so bad inside the plastic bag that is was inedible. I will not go to this restaurant again. It appears it has changed hands. The menu has items on it unrelated to the traditional Joey's and the menu itself was merely a photo copy on a sheet of paper. Really disappointing.

The various fish dishes I tried was an amazing serving size, very tasty and a good price for what you get. The staff I encountered was helpful and nice.

I was not impressed with the food at this location. I remember Joey's always being a pretty good choice for fish or seafood. Not anymore that's for sure or at least this location. Our fish was a really dark color from being overcooked and diddnt resemble the original Joey's fish I used to order. The fries were the same and it was one crunchy dry meal. Even the coleslaw wasn't tasting right to be honest. I don't know where it went wrong at this establishment but I believe it was downgraded.

Excellent place to eat a lot of fish & tips and shrimps! I had an endless fish and chips and shrimps and, Oh man! I eat a lot!Anup is great! He is very accommodating! He is there to please you and your guests.I totally recommend it!Ah! They have vegetarian and vegan opions!Something very important!!!You don't smell like fried food afterwards! Lol
