Fantastic toy store, unique toys and something for every budget. Staff are always helpful, they help you find exactly what you are looking for and they gift wrap!

The store is still upholding covid measures (in a very polite manner). Limited customers in the store, distancing and barriers in place. The staff is super polite and helpful.

I was told I had to wear a mask even though it is not the law but as a store owner I understand that you can implement whatever policies you like. I guess my question is that even if those polices are in violation of individual rights, medical choice and bodily sovereignty, how will you identify who has been vaccinated and who hasn’t? According to your signage and the employee there, masks will be enforced until everyone has received the unapproved, for emergency use only, inoculation. I am thankful for other stores that allow people the choice and make the shopping experience a positive one.

In November I was searching the toy stores in Victoria and Langford, as well as Amazon, for a specific toy to put under the Christmas tree. I could not find what I was looking for, which lead me to the website for Buddies Toy store in Sidney. I found exactly what I needed, and was able to easily order online for curbside pickup the following day. When I picked up the toy, I was also able to find some great stocking stuffers and other toys I hadn't seen anywhere else. Christmas toy shopping was accomplished in one stop! But the best part was the customer service. The staff were helpful and friendly. On Christmas day, we realized that one of the toys was missing a small piece. One email to Buddies Toys and the problem was quickly addressed, and the solution went above and beyond my expectations. I am certain that I would not have received the same customer service if I had shopped at one of the bigger chain toy stores. Buddies Toy Store is a bit of a drive for me, but the customer service (and the toy selection) is worth it. 5 STARS FOR BUDDIES TOYS!!!!!

The toy selection is amazing, the owner is friendly as can be. They have a birthday box option. Your kid can pick what ever they want for their birthday and they keep it so their friends can ask for the box and buy something there making buying the right gift easy.

Whenever Christmas or birthdays make an appearance, this is our go-to" store for picking up gifts for young and old. There is such an excellent variety of toys and novelties

This is the first place I go to shop when needing a toy or game for my grandchildren. The owner and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have a fantastic selection of products and you won't leave empty handed. I really appreciate the way they have handled COVID and making it a priority to keep their staff and customers safe.

My kids love this place.Too much. The staff here truly care about kids. They are all friendly, and a few of them know my wife by name. Their selection given the square footage of their space is quite impressive, and the merchandising does an excellent job of showing off the latest stuff.My son runs to the lego section, my daughters to the TY stuffies. You couldn't really ask for a better toy store in a community like this.Are the prices identical to Amazon and Toys R Us? Of course not. But that's not a fair comparison, because overhead and bulk purchase pricing are both entirely different ball parks. Support your local vendors, folks!

Good selection of items. Well organised into sections. Friendly staff. Always happy to gift wrap presents on a complimentary basis. Great to have locally. Free delivery for online orders over $50 within a 25lm radius.
