Dropped the ball this fathers day and needed a quick gift. I live in Calgary so I was trying to find a bakery that delivered. Super glad I came across Primera. I placed my order through Skip which was convenient. Ordered a dozen cookies and a couple of butter tarts. They were out of butter tarts which was understandable as I placed my order an hour before close. Skip refunded my tarts, but when my father in law called to tell me how delicious everything was, he was telling me about a chocolate tart they had slipped in. I thought that was very sweet and it was very much appreciated. Thank you guys for baking such delicious treats and for being so kind.

My friend got me an ube flavoured mamón chiffon cake from here, as well as some other goodies which were all good. However the Ube cake was so delicious, it had an amazing flavour and was so moist. I will be buying again for sure, and more than one.

Their service is amazing, I placed an order for a strawberry shortcake on a short notice for my sister's birthday. The cake was above and beyond my expectations! It looks so beautiful and it taste even better. Everyone at the party loved it! It was like eating a cloud. We love how the cake was not too sweet either so you can definitely go back for seconds.

You have to try the cream cheese cookies here! The Earl Grey cookie the kind staff recommended was delicious. So were the oreo cheesecake cookies, butterscotch, and birthday cake cookies I got! (They tasted great at room temperature and warmed up slightly in the microwave!) I also enjoyed the empanadas I got! They were warm and tasted nice and fresh even though I got them right before closing. Ideally, I think they should have a tad more filling and less pastry but both the filling and the pastry were very tasty. Just the ratio was off in my opinion! It wouldn't stop me from getting one again.

You will love everything from this place! I recommend the cakes and cookies and the ensaymadas! Can't wait to try the pecan butter tarts. The service here is as warm as the baked goods. Highly recommend this place to everyone I know in Edmonton!!!! Don't forget to get the pan de sel....my favorite!!!

My mom likes the stuff she bought, but I'm concerned about the cookies with cream cheese in them. They weren't refrigerated at your location, and had an off taste when I tried them, so I had to throw them out. Please please please refrigerate your baked goods containing cream cheese, and have labels accordingly so people can store them appropriately when they get home. Any baked goods with cream cheese (cookies/cupcakes/cake etc.) Need to be refrigerated after baking to prevent bacterial overgrowth and food poisoning.

I was just gifted some cookies from Primera Bake Shop and they are absolutely delicious! Fresh, chewy goodness. I’ll include a photo of the matcha cookie- yum!
