We often went to this café and supermarket before covid. The café-restaurant has improved a lot. We really enjoyed the coffee and pastries. Also, there is a large selection of hot dishes, sandwiches, fish.

One of my favourite grocery stores in the city. Amazing selection of fresh fish, flown in from Europe. Also an amazing selection of portuguese olive oil. It's of excellent quality, and priced very reasonably.It also has a coffee shop/bakery with delicious coffee and a mini restaurant/takeout of hot food. Great meat selection, inexpensive but fresh, as it has high turnover.Cafe was recently renovated. Best coffee and baked goods, very good food. Try the portuguese custard tarts, they're amazing.

please train your staff at the restaurant not to first of all gossip amongst each other about costumers right Infront of their faces & second discriminate against a customer because of the way they appear, assuming they stole something. Not only assume they stole something but handling the situation in an inappropriate way.the two in question work at the restaurant one with short hair and the other wavy long hair.thank you

Tavora Foods is known for Portuguese goods. I know that when I am making Portuguese dishes I can find the right ingredients from this store. I needed some chorizo and bought their homemade ones. I love seafood and they have a good selection of fresh and frozen seafood. I also like buying their salted fish, there is so much variety to choose from and at a reasonable price.

Great little supermarket. Excellent fresh fish and meats. Lots of things from Portugal such as cheese you don’t typically see in regular stores here. The bakery/coffee shop is awesome too.

It's true that the Portuguese are very proud of their cuisine. We've had numerous pleasant experiences with staff who went out of their way to introduce us to new ingredients and flavours. Extremely fair prices and great quality. Every time I buy anything I feel like it's as fresh as it gets, especially meat. Love the baked goods assortment, and fish selections also.

This place has selection of fresh meat and fish. Great grocery store a lot of stuff. Also they have a restaurant with really good deserts and much more. Come check for yourself you will not be disappointed. Keep good job

Great selection of frozen seafood. Found NZ mussels on sale several times and it was a really great deal. They also have sales often on their meats depending on the meat and week you go. I like the selection of European products. They also have a little cafe inside to enjoy some pasteis de nata and other desserts. You can sit and enjoy a cup of capuccino and dessert before or after shopping for groceries. Great atmosphere, clean place and friendly staff.
