I was here on Monday. I am completely new to fishing. Had never even touched a fishing rod before. Darryl was super helpful in getting me the basics I would need for my first ever fishing outing. I went back today for more supplies, and two gentlemen really took the time to help me pick out more specific items I was looking into.I apologize for not getting their names as it was rather busy, but one was a guy wearing a red shirt who showed me a type of weight I could add to my pickerel rig to avoid losing the whole rig on snagged rocks, and the other was the gentleman who rang me up and gave me some advice on good fishing spots in the city. Thank you Fishin' Hole staff, you've earned a customer for life!

I will never spend a dime at Fiahing hole wpg , after buying new sonar over 2k and having the worst customer service ever .Many of us were turned away even thou 1/2 hr plus to closing , We were rudely told their closed and they wanted to go home today..Maybe that horrible employee should have had manager keeping closer eye on them .Can't wait til fishing hole closes its doors only way I'll spend dime their

Worker was very rude and sounded like he didnt want to be working there. He asked me if I needed help and so I told him yes. I told him I was looking for lure for Lake Trout. Je said he didnt know what to use that people usually use spoons or jigs. With that answer I thought to myself why is he working here if he doesn't know. At the till while paying for my items I asked the cashier how much the dpoons were as they were marked 40% off. I was told $3.60. With knowing that I went to get more. I got back to my hotel and noticed that the cashier was wrong that the price after discount was $5.39 not the $3.60 like she said. After a long drive to Winnipeg and then a long drive to buy hooks I will not return there. I will stick to Cabelas.

10/10 because of service and stock, ask for Chris. Went in the other day with a basic BASIC understanding of fishing and came out with everything I needed to start casting only because Chris helped teach me what I needed and WHY I needed it. Can't ask for better service, no BS and no upselling if your polite to them. Thanks guys!

Most staff are awesome a few come off rude and patronizing, especially if you are new to fishing, other than that good store though

have everything you need to toss a line in the water with good friendly service. bought my ice tent for $100 less than that big American store off sterling lion.

Is this place closing down I thought to myself as I wondered around and the shelves were empty and dirty. You would think with all the staff standing around talking to each other and ignoring us completely that someone would take the initiative to maybe…..clean them. Don’t waste your time.

First time at the fishin hole today and all of the staff were incredibly helpful, it being my first time out fishing with my family they helped us with my fishing license and set me up with some tackle to get myself and my family out on the river. The prices were great not too high very very reasonable and the staff greeting you with a smile (with a mask on of course ), all willing to give you a hand and answer all your questions. I strongly recommend this store and a big shout out to the Saturday crew that helped me and my family out (:

I went to return a fishing rod today I bought about a week ago that was just a tad too long for my preference and was going to replace it with the same one but just 6 inches shorter. I walked up to the front desk and gave the cashier the wrong receipt by mistake and scrambled for a couple minutes looking for my receipt and I truly couldn’t find it (and I still can’t find it which really bothers me)... I didn’t expect to be able to walk out with the fishing rod I wanted today because I didn’t have the receipt in the end and that would’ve been fair, but the staff believed me and just exchanged the fishing rods even though they didn’t need too. The staff is very nice, understanding and our very knowledgeable. Excellent store, staff and customer service!If any worker reads this, thank you very much!
