If you are reading this review because you're looking for a dog trainer/dog walker or dog anything, really, then you can stop looking. Because Ka'nino is without doubt the most incredible, professional, knowledgeable, reliable canine company I have ever worked with.Rosie is my 4th dog rescue dog, and I must have worked with no less than 20 different trainers or companies over the years with my previous dogs, in both Montreal and Toronto. I saw more results after ONE session with Yetro than all of them combined. You'll believe it when you see it, but he really does speak their language. And yes, the dogs obviously adore him and Rosie would wait by the door every morning anxiously waiting for his arrival, but more so, he is an expert in his field and a true professional. He REALLY cares about the dogs in his care and he REALLY wants to see results. That's what I loved most, he didn't just pick Rosie up everyday to give her a workout (which he did, they really RUN), but he wanted to return her to me a little bit better every day (which he did). He genuinely wants to see these dogs succeed and be the best, happiest, healthiest dogs they can possibly be. This was obvious from the way he texted me multiple photos and videos of her progress for each daily walk, phoned me to check up on her behavior, and when I had to relocate due to work (outside of his service area), he made sure that he found the perfect person to take over Rosie's care. Even more, he worked with the new handler to ensure a smooth transition, and she told me that he phoned her to inquire about Rosie's progress.I cannot say enough amazing things about Yetro and his commitment. This isn't someone who will come and slowly walk your dog around the block for 30 minutes. This is someone who will not only ensure your dog is RUNNING with the pack and socializing, but also mentally stimulated, for 60 solid minutes.If you're like me and comparing different dog walker/training companies, trust me you've found the right one with Ka'anino.

My wife and I cannot recommend Kanino highly enough. Yetro is an incredibly patient and intuitive trainer and has, over the course of months, worked with our dog, Evie extensively in order to deal with some issues related to anxiety. We adopted our dog from a rescue in northern Ontario and she arrived with a number of issues that required more attention than we were able to provide ourselves. We were initially introduced to Yetro as a trainer who could help us by working with our dog to limit her stress and make her less reactive.In addition to training Evie, Yetro also walks her every day. Even our neighbours have commented on how well behaved and calm our dog is when she is with him.There are no words to describe how pleased my wife and I are with the progress that our dog is made in the time that Yetro has been working with her and we plan to continue with Kanino indefinitely.

I can’t speak highly enough about Yetro. We called him when we started having issues with our rescue dog Penny. She slowly started developing problem behaviours when off leash such as squirrel fixations and full on refusal to come when called. She’s the type of dog who was born to run so when we had to switch to leashed walks she got super frustrated and things just got worse. She started pulling like a sled dog on walks and was so wired that if I stoped for a few seconds her entire body would tremble with anticipation to move forward.Yetro showed us how to read our dog’s body language and taught us how to use non verbal cues to encourage calm behaviour. It was super intersting to watch her respond to him immediately. He also equipped us with a series of engaging things to do on walks to strengthen our bond and keep her checking in. She’s so much happier now. Penny loves running through the woods at top speed. She’s never going to be one of those dogs who’s glued to my side on walks but now she’s in a balanced place and I’m not worried she’s going to take off or go too far. She also walks beautifully on a leash now which is such a relief.Yetro called regularly to hear about our progress which really shows he cares about his clients and wants the best for their dogs.

Highly, highly recommend this company. They are true professionals.It's not only about walking your dog, they actually understand your dog's personality and needs.At the end of the walk, not only do you have a tired pooch, but a better behaved one as well! As a trainer, Yetro is exceptional.
