SBA Basketball

HaveNot gone yet but from the reviews I have seen it think I'll like it. One question for them if u payed for training defense which is 75 dollars,and if u want to switch to to dribbling which is the same price of 75 dollars can is it possible to switch

Horrible organization. Don't waste your money. Poorly run and organized. They have an equal playing time policy that they do not enforce. Favouritism is rampid in this league. My son's self esteem was knocked on several occasions. It was an experience I never want to go through again.

It's a place for your kid to enjoy the game of basketball with few other kids at a cost ! Frequent changes of coaches, even coaches have politics among them self, who cares but when it comes to development of kids confidence and morale please don't send your kids here. They will break your kids self confidence level. They organize All star event for kids , then give medals for their favourite kids (Parents) 4 or 5 medals per kid. Other kids just stand and watch their favouritism with shattered hearts. It's visible on kids face on the ceremony day. However, they will provide each kid with one medal for participation. Poorly run organization ! I expected more from SBA but they failed to deliver. If you don't believe me just enroll your kids and enjoy the show ! Good luck !

I was looking for a basketball academy for my kids and saw their “select league program”. Went on to check it last Monday and was disappointed. They said that all their trainings are run by certified coaches but they’re just letting teenagers run the drills and ref all the games. No proper coaching/explanations of the drills, they’re not teaching or telling the players why they’re doing those and what are those drills for. No designated coaches for each teams. Also, In their website they said that they have players’ insurance - included when you pay $280, but when i asked one of their staff, He answered no, that there’s no insurance or what so ever. Not a full gear aswell, just a ragged reversible jersey. What a money making organization.Will come again tonight to watch and observe.

Need better coaching staff.. temporary senior students are not coaches.. please put all your coaches list on SBA websites..

I'm on a good rep team with good teammates

SBA is amazing. The coaches are extremely patient with the players.They give you amazing training.Even raptors Cory Joseph is a former SBA rep team player!

*** U13 *** Girls *** Let me tell you Coach Mar and Coach Nick the best people ever. Coach Mar she is amazing a real true caring person those girls played outstanding and they loved the season. Thank you for a amazing year one U13 GO BLUES. See you for Year Two we can't wait.

So the supposed tryouts for the youth basketball on Saturday gone….could it have been anymore fixed? Obviously the chosen ones were there and waiting for a few others to join. The amount of disappointment in the place was insane. Tryouts and at least half come in wearing Scarborough Blues jerseys. Continue to focus on your returning players. It will eventually be your loss.
