Nith Valley Animal Hospital was recommended to us when we wanted to get a second opinion on a tooth extraction for our Lab Molly.Dr. J and staff were great and took time to explain what had happened to the tooth, and that it didn't need to be extracted (at the moment and may not need to be in future) as it wasn't the root that had been affected.They did quote on the extraction in case it was needed in future and they were quite a bit less than we were quoted elsewhere.Great care at a reasonable price and they'll take the time to explain in layman's terms. We'll be staying with Nith Valley for future pet needs!

Attended this location prior to a flight with our kitty Emily! The staff was absolutely amazing. Even though we didn’t get to speak with the vet we got extremely clear instructions on how to handle our feline family member while on a flight! Thank you for absolutely everything you did for our family member! You guys are amazing!

Staff is awesome and caring. Compassionate to both pet owner and pets. Service is quick and competent! My pets love Dr. Jim & Martha!

Came to the vet for a second opinion. I’m very happy I did as the service was professional, the veterinarian was to the point and honest. Highly recommend.

We are so grateful for the care that is provided to our 2 dogs. Dr Hambleton is very skilled, thorough, and attentive to all areas of our dogs health. We are also so grateful that he found a heart issue with our guy that can now be treated with medication to increase his longevity. Martha and Sarah are so kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful.This is a very compassionate and professional vet clinic. Their prices for services are reasonable, which we think is also an important aspect of care. We highly recommend Dr Hambleton and his team.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The best veterinarian I have ever dealt with. Caring, compassionate, amazing people that treat you and your furbaby with nothing but kindness.Highly recommend!

Dr. Hambleton and Martha and Sarah are wonderful people. So honest, and friendly. Excellent service! And Dr. Hambleton gets to the root of the problem right away. He knows what he's doing! I'm truly grateful. I have several animal's and it's nice to know they are getting the best care, without costing a fortune. While the service I received here was competent I was very disappointed by the fact that not only was I not allowed into the clinic with my dog, but the vet consistently refused my multiple requests to call me so I could speak to him directly.He, instead, elected to pass all communications through his assistant. She was very competent and personable but she is not a vet and having to filter all communications through her was extremely time consuming and frustrating. I had some worries after a minor operative procedure and I believe I spent more on diagnostic tests and visits than I would have if I had just been able to voice my concerns directly to the Dr. I have since taken my business elsewhere.
