We had Zen come and finish the landscaping and patio around our pool. I would highly recommend them, right from the original visit for a quote to the end of the project always very professional and easy to work with. We are very pleased with the finished product, the pictures don't even do it justice!

We hired Zen to do a remodel of our favourite backyard space after an unsuccessful 3 year hunt for someone who understood what we were looking for. After meeting with Josh from Zen - we instantly knew we'd found our match! His team delivered an outstanding design and completed the project seamlessly, on time - and ahead of an important pre-scheduled family event deadline. We had Josh and his team at Zen Construction complete a renovation of our backyard earlier this summer. We couldn’t be happier with the results and would not hesitate to recommend Zen Construction to anybody we know. As with any project there were some delays, but those that were in control of Josh’s team were dealt with in a courteous and prompt manner (some covid related delays were out of everybody’s control). Josh’s team was always professional, polite, and friendly every day on the job and kept us updated with the status of the project. We have gone from a backyard that only the kids ever used, to having a space that we spend almost everyday in. It has essentially been an addition to our house where the entire family can eat, play, and relax. Our only regret is that we didn’t do this project sooner.

We had Josh's team back after they landscaped our backyard and pool decking in 2018. This summer they built a great outdoor living space with a bar, fireplace, and TV/storage cabinet. There were a few setbacks, but Josh and his team were always quick to get them rectified. His team arrived on time, put in long hours, and always cleaned up at the end of the day. Last Spring, we contacted Josh for a quote on redoing the landscape around our inground pool which included the removal of the entire existing gardens and stone walls. It was a BIG job! Meeting Josh the first time we knew he would be getting our business. He is friendly, helpful in providing suggestions on design, and took the time to speak to us about our needs/wants not only at our first meeting but throughout the entire project. After almost five weeks of construction, we cannot say enough about the quality and workmanship of Zen….true perfection! The crew were amazing, very professional, friendly, and always available to answer any questions we had. The site was always cleaned up every day too. We are so pleased with the finished work that we are now able to sit and enjoy our backyard and use our pool more because of Zen. Since that project, we have had Zen return to replace a fence, gate, and correct some water/drainage issues…again all done to perfection! Our next project is to replace our existing backyard patio and walkway and I know Zen will be doing the work! We highly recommend Zen Construction.

This is a follow up to our review from last season in which the team at Zen Construction built us an outdoor kitchen and Pavilion. Unfortunately over the winter a crack developed in the beautiful concrete counter they built. With one phone call Josh had someone from his team come look at it within a couple of days. A week later he had their specialist look at it. Josh kept us updated throughout the process in terms of possible solutions to the issue. Rather than attempting fixes that may or may not work, or last a couple of seasons, Josh did not hesitate to cover the counter under warranty with a full replacement (and with a significant upgrade in terms of material and finish). Within 3 weeks we had a new counter selected and installed. I know there are many companies out there that do amazing work, but the service Zen Construction provides well after the job is complete is truly outstanding. Its nice to know you can deal with a company that will stand behind their work. We are so pleased with the quality of work Zen Construction did on our backyard transformation this summer. We have a small backyard with limited access, and Zen worked diligently with us to design a backyard oasis around our new pool area. From the beginning, starting with the consultation and planning process, Josh was professional and honest about what would work best and how it would need to be done. A variety of different crews were required throughout the process, and each one arrived early and worked hard through some of the hottest days. Each evening everything was cleaned up and stored in an organized manner. The work crews were friendly with our family, and even neighbours were commenting about the quality of work and professionalism that was displayed. Exceptional workmanship and customer service. The staff arrived on time everyday and worked very hard. Ruben the foreman was amazing at keeping us informed on the progress and any issues. We would recommend Zen Construction to everyone requiring landscaping renovations.

From the first consultation to the end of the job the people in this company were delightful to work with.Very thorough and comprehensive quote and the work was done as specified.The team that came to work on the job were polite and friendly. We had Zen Construction build our dream oasis! This is the third time we have used Zen and the quality of work is exceptional. We had Zen originally for some carpentry projects and most recently the team laid beautiful stone pavers around our pool and lounge area, and constructed a solid fence.
