As a maid of honour, I recommended Simona to my bride friend and it was a fabulous decision. Tons of praise for Simona and her team for a smooth, blissful experience. It was a relief to have someone so experienced at the helm, and allowed us to enjoy the day in giddy, joyous peace.

Believe me when I say we would have been absolutely lost in pure CHAOS if it wasn't for Simona on our wedding day. She was absolutely amazing. Not only did she keep us organized all the way through, she also went ABOVE and BEYOND what she should have been doing on our day. She was always present when we needed her, and she even was so helpful with our guests needs. We had a phonecall meeting where Simona touched on all sorts of details I would have missed, had I been alone in planning my wedding. I'm talking about things that NEVER occured to me and I bet won't occur to you either. So do yourself a favor and get in touch with Simona... you will NOT regret it.

Simona was absolutely amazing! From the minute I started chatting with her to get details on pricing, she was so kind, asked us questions and gave us recommendations on venders which helped us save a lot of money! She was always available to answer my questions throughout the planning stage and was an absolute dream to work with leading up to the wedding. She helped us refine our timeline and made sure we paid attention to all the detail. She put in an effort to meet all our family and friends in the wedding party to make the big day run smoother. Day of I was so relaxed, and she handled everything flawlessly with the help of Vanessa. They are quite the power team! Simona and Vanessa managed everything, from making sure we had water while taking pictures outside, to putting my glasses and speech at the table for me and every detail in between of set up and helping our guests. I cannot say enough positive things about Simona and Something Blue Weddings and Events. I would 1000% recommend her and use her services again in the future!

Simona was our month-of/day-of wedding coordinator for our September wedding at the RCYC on Toronto Island. She made sure every detail of our special day went off without a hitch! She was polite, professional, calm and organized. She also made sure to carefully listen and respond quickly to our last-minute wants and needs on the day of. Hiring Simona to assist with our wedding was one of the best decisions we made.As soon as we had our first phone call, it was evident that she was knowledgeable and experienced. She asked all of the right questions and more to understand our plan for the day, and offered very valuable advice. For example, we ended up choosing two vendors that she suggested to us that we wouldn’t have known about otherwise.In addition to her expertise, Simona was incredibly organized and we knew that we were in good hands. Although things started to “pick up” in the month leading up to our wedding, having her assistance with last minute coordination and organization helped us immensely.She was our MVP on the day of our wedding! In addition to an off-site “first look”, we had both the ceremony and reception at the same venue with a room flip in between. With so much happening in a short amount of time, we have no doubt that we would have been lost without her. If you’re thinking of hiring someone to help you with your special day specially if you don’t know where to begin then Simona is the perfect person for you. We hired her as our day of coordinator and we couldn’t be any happier with our decision. From our very first phone call, she took the time to go over everything we needed in full detail including things we never even thought of. Together we went over our vision and she created a well planned timeline to help us with our dream wedding. She made sure our venters were all present the day of including making sure our decor was set up exactly how we envisioned it to be. We hired Simona to be our day of/month of coordinator for our October 2022 barn wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. Simona was AMAZING to work with from start to finish. We knew 20 seconds into our consult that we were going to hire her and it's easy to see why. I am a type A personality and had the wedding basically completely planned by the time we met with Simona (or so I thought) but convinced myself to take a chance and hire someone for the coordination of the day. I am forever grateful that I did that. There were so many little details I wouldn't have known about or thought of that Simona was all over based on her extensive experience. Simona is the perfect balance of fun and laid back with professional, organized and reliable. She knows her stuff and it's so clear in her work. She made the entire planning process step by step and stress-free, and our day was so well taken care of that I genuinely had no concerns because I knew Simona would take care of anything that came up. And she did, she thought of everything. On top of planning, she and her assistant did a GORGEOUS job setting up the decor I provided. I had a specific idea/image in my mind and Simona carried it out even better than I would have. We got so many compliments from our wedding guests about how our venue set up was the most beautiful they had every been to, and we have plenty of photos to prove it. I cannot say enough positive things about Something Blue Wedding and Events. My fiancé and I weren't originally convinced we should hire a day-of-coordinator for our backyard wedding but we now both agree that having Cynthia there was the BEST decision we made while planning. Simona and Cynthia were incredible to work with. Leading up to the event, they provided us with organizational templates, refined details, and constructed our timeline. They touched base with all of our vendors before the event, leaving us to enjoy the lead up to our big day without any stress. On the day of the wedding, Cynthia showed up early and immediately began setting up. She coordinated my family members, the vendors, set up the decor perfectly, and even made sure I ate and drank throughout the day. Our wedding would not have been the same without her. She dealt with so many things- large and small, which allowed us to sit back and enjoy. She was also just a delight to be around. Almost all of my guests commented on how great she was, and even though she was working so hard, she was still smiling and having fun! If you are on the fence about hiring Something Blue, I STRONGLY encourage you to do it. Our day was perfect because of them!!! They are truly remarkable at what they do.

Over and Above...Beyond our expectations!Simona is a true professional with a heart of gold....It is difficult to put a value on the work and stress that Simona saved us from start to finish. Simona's experience, guidance, knowledge and calm demeanor was invaluable to our wedding planning. Nothing was impossible; everything was doable.With Simona's help, we were able to put together a flawless event in 2 months on a scale that would take most people 6-8 months. The attention to detail ensured perfection; nothing was forgotten. Simona was on top of every task and detail, and given the extreme timeline with a lot of moving parts, this was impressive.
