I recently had my cruiser bike converted to electric by Okanagan eBikes. I am so pleased with not only the job they did, but the care with which they did it. And once I picked up my bike, they were concerned with follow-up, to make sure I was a happy customer. I highly recommend their services.

I thought an ebike would be nice to have along with my pedal bike, however after watching two of my friends have to replace bikes that cost the same and more to have a conversion done, I was not looking to buy an ebike. Then I found Okanagan Ebike Conversions and after several well informed discussions I went ahead with the conversion. I certainly have not regretted it, the work is top notch, the unit is top of the line and I am having a riot with this bike. I would recommend the conversion route all day long and these guys are the smart choice to do the work.

Russ at Okanagan Ebikes gave us outstanding sales and service converting our hybrid recreational bikes to Ebikes in Sep/20. He took us for a demo ride up Knox Mountain before purchase and again when our bikes were converted. I ended up trading in my bike for Russ’s step-through demo bike. We had a chance to ride our Ebikes a few times before winter to get familiar with the simple controls. Love that we can now ride from our home in north Kelowna and hills are no longer an issue. Battery range is great and they charge quickly. Russ remains available for questions and after sales service. We highly recommend Okanagan Ebikes.

I was looking for an e bike that would meet my interests. I wanted something that was of course inexpensive but well put together. I was looking for a bike that could get me up hills easily and get my blood going on a flat road. There was nothing out there that could do that without paying an outrageous amount of money. When I came across Russ's website I was so glad because he offered a sensible alternative.When I met Russ he let me try one of his bikes and I immediately wanted one!Russ built me a bike according to what I was asking for, speed and agility, along with the ability to go trail riding or city riding. The other thing I appreciate about Russ is his professionalism. I just could not find an ebike as comfortable as my Townie. Test rode a couple of Okanagans demos here in Calgary. I determined the 750 watt kit was more than enough for my pathway riding needs, so went ahead and had Galen install one on my Townie.I am very happy with the installation and the power is amazing. Irons out hills and I don't break a sweat.

One of the best experiences I have had with a company in a long time. Russ and Okanagan Ebikes did a wonderful job on my bike. From installation of a new E bike system to servicing it for the last year I have nothing but praise for this company. I have a specialized bike that I love riding, rather then spending upwards of 6k on a new road ebike I was looking at converting my current bike. That is when I found Okanagan Ebikes. I was hesitant to let anyone else do the conversion as I am particular about how things are done but after a 30 minute phone conversation it sounded like they knew what they were doing. Had a 15 minute conversation when I dropped my bike off and left it with them. When I went to pick it up, Mitch took the time to go over operation and even had the battery fully charged so I could ride it home! He said his phone was always on if I had any issues and any questions He would happily walk me through them. The conversion looks very tidy and everything is neatly done and well placed. I was able to ride it from his shop in Kelowna to the top of Glenrosa with zero issues. I also played around doing hill climbs with max assist just to see how far the battery goes. It does not disappoint. You can climb bridge hill and Gorman hill at 50kms/hr.I put 54kms the first ride! After an E Bike excursion in Boston in 2019, my wife and I were interested in a purchase. A friend recommended we convert our current bikes to E Bikes. We contacted Russ and were pleasantly surprised at how quickly the conversion was done and how reasonable the price was. Russ knows his stuff and has given us excellent service above and beyond the original conversion. We are now avid riders on bikes that make it easy to get around.
