Peggy's Cove
This place is so underrated. Pictures do not do any justice. You will only appreciate the ocean’s force when you hear and witness the sound of waves hitting the rocks. Be careful to step on black rocks. Sadly many have been swept away taking pictures close to the waves. But lighthouse is very picturisric. You can easily spend few hours and have a lobster lunch and dinner at the restaurant. The place is only 45 mins drive from Halifax. Must visit!

Peggy's cove is an amazing experience. It is rightly on the bucket list of many. Huge boulders, light house, and the ocean; its a unique and wonderful combination of natural and man-made spot. If you park your car at the visitor center, it's a nice walk from the parking to the cove..on the way there are beautiful art galleries and boutique shops with unique products not easily found. Great for all ages.

Worth checking out. Beautiful rocks with strong waves crashing against them with a lighthouse in the backdrop. Be careful tho. Someone just died after falling in the water (navigating the treacherous black rock) and getting swept away. And another guy died three weeks previous under similar circumstances! Guess fences would take away from the beauty of the area. But for real, respect the ferocity of the waves and enjoy the beauty safely from a distance.

Peggy’s Cove is one of Nova Scotia’s premiere destinations. Its historic lighthouse, charming fishing village and remarkable landscape make for a breathtaking trip. You have to see the lighthouse in person. Simple as that. You would have to be a little crazy to not want to get a selfie with the most photographed lighthouse in Canada. And well you are there check out the pastel colored homes in the village and the beautiful marine scenery from the rocky shoreline.

Definitely worth going to. The views are stunning and the surrounding area is very cute as well. Great place to take family photos when visiting NS. It does get very busy though so I suggest going on a weekday if possible (and it's still very busy then too!)

Beautiful spot. Walked around with my wife and son. They enjoyed themselves too. The smell and sound of the ocean...stay off the black rocks!! Haha

You should definitely come to this place with a professional camera or a phone with better camera quality if you love clicking sunrise or sunset pictures. It's absolutely surreal to see sunset and moon rise at the same time on most days. The drive to Peggy is beautiful from DT Halifax but be cautious about the wild animals crossing the roads. There is a gift shop and a restaurant located in this area.If you have a newborn or a toddler, you can take a stroller only to a certain point so be prepared unless you wish to see the lighthouse from close. If you wanna avoid long walking then park your car in the top parking lot.If you have motion sickness then be prepared as the route to Peggy's from Halifax is not very straight.Absolutely worth watching!

Peggy's Cove
Wonderful (and chilly) experience. Would recommend coming on a colder day if you’d like it all to yourself, or on a warmer day if the cold isn’t for you. Always lovely to see. A must see if only planning to visit once.

Ah, Peggy's Cove. We had heard so much about it, and it did not disappoint. We went in the off-season, so the shops/gallery/museums weren't open, but the town is charming, and the ocean view is awe-inspiring.

Beautiful place. Few bathrooms though. The drive to it is quite a windy road so it was definitely worth it to go there for the food afterwards to settle the stomach.
