Vision Centre At Walmart

I went comparison shopping to several optical stores and found this place to be priced the best, by far. The selection isn't as good as some of the other shops but the quality, pricing and service is fantastic. The staff are professional, friendly and thorough. This is my #1 choice in Barrie for prescription glasses.

Bought glasses on Boxing Day 2017. I'm still waiting for them to be ready!!! Apparently they made a mistake with my prescription. So I have to wait longer than 7-10 business days. Today is day 14.

I bought two pairs of glasses from this location as they were on sale and worth it to buy both pairs.One pair was kept in their original case and stored in the kitchen junk drawer. One pair I have been wearing for the past two years.This past weekend I left my daily glasses at my cottage and pulled out the spare pair from the junk drawer. Upon putting them on, I noticed what appeared to be a crack in the lens. Upon closer inspection, the crack was revealed to be the layers of the lens separating -- an obvious workmanship defect.I took the glasses back to Walmart and was refused warranty service on them first because they are over 2 years old, regardless of the fact that they had never been worn. After much discussion regarding the fact that Walmart should be standing behind their product due to the defect in workmanship, I was told that they were not covered because I chose not to have the scratch and UV resistant coating applied to the lenses.I will reiterate the fact that these glasses are not scratched or damaged in any way other that the DEFECT IN WORKMANSHIP. What the scratch resistant coating has to do with the lenses separating is beyond me.All I know is I am disgusted with the service I have received at Walmart Vision Centres - Bayfield, Barrie and will no longer be shopping at Walmart.All for a $20 lens.

I started going here because the price on frames was low. I have continued to shop with them as they are always friendly and will help me out if something just isn't right with my glasses/prescription. I recommend them for your vision needs.

Worst service. Staff is very rude and try to rush me in choosing options for glasses because they were closing in 30 mins. Not open on weekends. I wonder why. Probably the staff don’t want to work. I ordered contact lenses and they didn’t come for a month and they didn’t even order them they only ordered a sample to try. I’ve been ordering fro 15 years in Toronto same brand. Save yourself the headache. Go somewhere else.

The website states the store is open until 9pm when I arrived at the store at 740pm the entrance was blocked and I was told that they were closing in 20minutes and that I could not touch any of the frames because they would have to be cleaned When I contacted the store the next day to explain my experience the answer I received was Good to know thanks for your call !! Using COVID as an excuse for poor customer service and not updating your website for 7 months Shake my head!

If I could I would definitely give a negative five review to this vision care center....My daughter went into the center to return her scratched glasses she had picked up the day before, the two representatives she felt with today were very rude and condescending to her. These two women had my daughter almost in tears because of the way they treated her. They made her feel terrible and even bullied for trying to return a faulty pair of glasses...TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I've had horrible service Barbra the optometrist she has no respect for ppl with medical conditions and pushy . Only person who is great there is george id recommend him to anyone .

Very pleased we met this Dr. and staff. We had a wonderful introduction which made my daughter at ease. Very glad we went here and look forward to our next visit.
