Carefree Canines Doggie Daycare

Best doggie daycare in the city. Staff are caring, knowledgeable, and love the dogs. Our puppy is super happy to go there every morning.

We had our puppy in CC fulltime for the entire time we were in the lower mainland and it was absolutely the best decision we've ever made. For the same price as a 1 hr dog walker, we got a full 10 hour day for our puppy to chase the ball and play with a ton of different puppies (she's usually ball obsessed so this was a huge bonus). Picking her up, I've never seen her happier and, of course, more tired. We were able to go out at night and be confident that our puppy would not mind in the least!The daycare is open and there's no segregation which is only possible because the staff are excellent. They gave her medicine when needed, fed her when needed, helped us train her our way and even took her to the vet one time! There's even the potential for overnight boarding at more than reasonable rates and they sent us updates on how well she was doing! If that wasn't enough, Jody (the owner) takes pictures of the puppies every day and posts them to facebook!I can't recommend Jody and Carefree Canines more. They are absolutely everything you could want from a doggie daycare. We've moved to Kelowna and the only thing I miss about the lower mainland is CC. I wish they would start a franchise here. Please start a franchise up here Jody!!

Our mini dachshund Buko has been going to Carefree Canines for the past 7 months and she absolutely loves it! Buko gets so excited when we say “daycare” or “Jody”! Jody and her team provide a fun, safe, and loving environment for the dogs, and all the dogs are so well behaved and quiet when it’s time for pick up. Buko gets to play with dogs of all sizes, and we see the benefits of that outside of daycare. Jody is also so kind and is there if you have any questions.Thank you Carefree Canines! Ruby has been going to Carefree Canines since she was a puppy; she's been going to school" for pretty much the amount of time that Jody has had the daycare. Ruby loves all of the staff and has learned really good manners. She has a good time with them when they give her cuddles. I love how the staff take such wonderful pictures of our dogs and the captions make my day.I am always impressed at how everybody is so professional

We have been bringing our German Shepherd here for about 8 months now, and we cannot say enough good things about it and Jody and the whole staff there.It far exceeds any expectations we had about doggie day care, and cannotimagine a place any better than this one for our dog or any other dog.Jody has hired excellent staff. They are all knowledgeable and love the dogs.We love so many things about this day care !Big and small dogs play together safely and have so much fun. There is plenty of staff that is there all day to ensure the play is the best experience for the dogs.It is extremely clean and spacious, with lots of different things for dogs to play with.The staff all get to know the dogs well, their different personalities and temperaments, and do an amazing job with them.It is rare that a business is run this well, and consistently, and to such a high standard. They really care about the dogs in their care and have created an environment that the dogs love , have so much fun in and feel safe and happy.Our dog pulls hard every morning to get to the front door of the day care as fast as she can.If you are looking for a day care for your dog, look no further ! There can be nothing better than this.July 28,2019My dog is still going to this amazing doggie daycare and she loves it so much !She is still as excited to go as she was years ago .Jody continues to run this day care as a first class facility that is everything your dog would want .It is soooooo much fun !Her staff is the best and they are completely engaged the whole time with the dogs that come .I would never go anywhere else .not a chance .

My puppy Burgundy has joined the CC family since he was about at his 3-4 months. He is probably still one of the youngest also the smallest size one among the family. He absolutely enjoy going there so much. The place is spacious and facilities are very clean. Jody and her team has been doing a fantastic job to accommodate him. Safety is the top keyword that I hear from Jody, I appreciate it very much! They guide him to be a well rounded boy with all the other buddies no matter what size they are. They are very patient to work on him and understand the needs for a young toy breed puppy very well. I constantly receive feedback from Jody and team which sounds like he is making progress every week!

I'm so lucky to have found Carefree Canines. They are the best and most loving doggie daycare I have ever had the opportunity to visit. You can tell the way everyone is happy and treats the dogs how amazing these group of people are. Thank you for giving me peace of mind when I need to go to work.

My dog, Betty, has been going to Carefree Canines for a couple of years now. She absolutely loves it there! All I have to say on her daycare days is wanna go to school?" and she wags her whole body! I love to watch Betty greeting her pals when she gets there. Jody and her group are amazing. I would only leave my Betty-boo with people who I absolutely trust.
