Me and my wife had an amazing day on the water with guide Lisa! She was amazingly smart, funny, knowledgeable and just all around an awesome person too share a boat with, landed a thick 44 inch fish and a pike for the day!100% would recommend her or any guide from the musky factory!

WOW, what an experience fishing for Musky on the Ottawa River with the Ottawa River Musky Factory. Our guide Lisa was, friendly, patient and extremely knowledgeable! Although we weren't able to get a Musky in the boat, the things she taught us were invaluable in being able to hunt for Musky in the future! Lisa's boat was fantastic and the equipment that they let you use is of excellent quality! I don't have a bad thing to say and I'll be back for another charter in the near future! If you want to go hunting for Musky, look no further than Ottawa River Musky Factory!!

We had just moved to Ottawa and I decided to surprise my partner with a half day trip fishing for giant Muskies. As soon as I was in contact with the owner John, I knew we were in excellent hands. We went early November and despite the cold it was one of our best days ever! My partner landed a massive musky and the excitement on the boat was INSANE! One of the most exhilarating moments a person can experience and I highly recommend The Ottawa River Musky Factory!

My wife and I had the pleasure to get out with John Anderson and the experience we had was beyond words. We are beginners and right from the get go John was incredible. He watched us closely and started to correct our boat side maneuvers, hook sets, and more importantly to us emphasized, explained and showed us the keys to converting follows to fish and it was a day to remember. We hit 3 nice musky boat side, my wife got the 2 biggest including a gold standard of 50+

We booked a tour this past weekend with Mike Kadoura & for all three of us it was one of the best days on the water we've ever had. His knowledge of where to fish, what baits to use & how to fish them was second to none.I personally learned a ton from this trip. His ability to instruct was top notch & his outgoing personality made him a pleasure to be around.I would not hesitate for a minute to book an excursion with this company it's well worth your time.

Was out fishing with Lisa yesterday. What can you express in mere words that describes someone who helps you accomplish one of your greatest bucket list aspirations. Well Lisa did just that helping me locate and land a 50 inch musky of a lifetime. Thank you Lisa....you are a wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable guide with a winning personality and so much fun to fish with. Do not hesitate to allow Lisa to help you catch your fish of a lifetime.

Went fishing in July 2022 and caught nothing in 5 hours. Extremely disappointing but our guide Mike was super nice and did a fantastic job teaching us how to fish for Muskie. Still waiting to catch my first one! The boat was quite nice, had a pretty fast outboard motor, and a remote controlled trolling motor to move spots or keep the boat in one position. There was just enough space for 4 people to cast at the same time. We used high quality bait caster reels and had an assortment of lures to choose from made by the Ottawa River Muskie Factory. We got to look inside the fishing cabin afterwards and see the hundreds of Muskie lures inside. If you book a charter, make sure to use ask your guide to use the Johnny A lure- I have a feeling it’s lucky! Wish I could have another chance to fish with the Ottawa River Muskie Factory.

What an adventure we had last fall w/ Lisa. Went out on the Ottawa River for two days and learned invaluable lessons on catching the elusive Musky. After two long days of casting we managed to land a small 24 inch Muksy (probably the smallest on Lisa's boat ever) in the final hours. 10 minutes later Lisa spotted a musky about 20-30 yards off the bow w/ the fish finder. Pointed to the spot, I casted out and boom!! A giant 49incher. After two days of casting we landed a monster. Well worth the wait. Would recommend Lisa and ORMF to anyone.

I have been dreaming of the opportunity to catch a musky for over 10 years. I have fished in a number of locations all over the world. These trips are always a logistical, financial and psychological stretch. Consistently the most important factors are the guide and the location. It always feels as though you are heading into the unknown somewhat. There is only so much you can do prior to a trip in an attempt to put everything in your favour. I have been lucky enough over the years to fish with some great guides all over the world.I have just returned from a 2 day trip in tough conditions with Lisa Goodier at the Ottawa River Musky Factory. It was one of the highlights of a lifetime fishing! It is always a special occasion to catch a first of a species, and Lisa truly understands this. She worked hard every second we were on the water together. It felt as though my first musky was as important to her as it was to me. There is no doubt in my mind that she is amongst the very best musky guides in Ontario.Lisa impressed me from the very start. Every email was answered quickly. Her answers were always comprehensive and thoughtful. She took the time to really understand what I wanted from a trip, and also to ensure the logistics of making it work were as easy as could be for me. She ensured that I always had great advice and options for accomodation, food and clothing - all the small details that can ruin a trip.Her attention to detail is astonishing. It also meant that I knew I could trust her without question. It is very unusual to find a guide who will work so hard for you to catch fish. As an example, every time I turned around, Lisa was sharpening the next set of hooks in order to ensure they were ready for a lure change. A momentarily snagged lure resulted in a lure change to ensure the hooks had not been dulled. Lisa’s knowledge of both the fish and their environment is impressive. As I asked about the changes in fish movement, I was not expecting to be answered with a quote from a recent telemetry study!Over the course of the first day, Lisa gently coached and guided me in the intricacies of fishing for musky. It meant that when my one chance came, I was as prepared as possible to make the most of it. I would recommend anyone with a passion for fishing to try musky fishing. Under Lisa’s guidance you will certainly have every chance of catching the fish of a lifetime.In summary, I am truly grateful to Lisa for sharing her world of musky fishing on the Ottawa River that is clearly so dear to her heart. She could not possibly have done more to ensure I had both an enjoyable and successful trip!

I went out with Lisa twice .First time Sept 20.20, I caught a 31 inch pike (new pb) and saw a 46 inch Musky. TODAY caught a 44 inch Musky and moved 2 more muskies. If you go fishing with Ottawa Musky factory YOU will not be disappointed!!!
