I had a great experience here with Jung. Friendly staff and great peaceful environment. They had a billiard pool and did a great job. Im 100% happy with the experience, I would recommend to anyone. Special thanks to Jung for such a wonderful experience.

I recently visited this barbershop for a haircut and it was amazing here. I had Jung for my haircut, he is not only an incredibly skilled barber but also a great conversationalist. He took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered his expert opinion on what would look best for my hair type and face shape. During the haircut, Jung was very detail-oriented. I could tell that he takes great pride in his work and strives for perfection with every client. I highly recommend Jung at this shop to anyone looking for a great haircut. Andy is a great barber. I have a lot of good conversations with him. Turns out we know a lot of mutual friends which is a plus. Haven't had a problem yet. Recommend paying in cash.

I had an amazing experience here. Tony was very patient and knowledgeable with his consultation. Took his time and helped me figure out what kind of hairstyle I wanted, as I'm inexperienced and never know what to ask for in a haircut. He was very careful when cutting my hair and paid close attention to detail. Was also a great conversationalist and worked efficiently, making sure to explain everything in detail and that I understood everything that was going on with my hair. I learned more than I have from every other barber/stylist combined. Also consistently made sure there wasn't hair sitting on me anywhere.Tldr; 10/10 experience. Clean and spacious interior, great barbers, very knowledgeable and helpful. They really want to make you happy with your haircut. Loved the cut!P.S. The food rec was great

Andy man! He’s too good!This was my first time going there and I immediately felt like I’ve been going for years. Everyone (and the environment) was so welcoming and friendly. There was good music, nice lighting, and tons of cool decorations. Definitely a great spot.Now for Andy: He was exactly what you want in a barber. I often find with most people they tend to almost rush and half the time they don’t even get it right. Not this guy! He took time to speak over what I was wanting whilst also explaining how and what would work best with my hair type, face shape etc. Not only did he do that, he executed it perfectly. He was also great at holding a conversation and is just a nice guy to talk to and he’s just overall got top tier service.Bottom line: New Shanghai is definitely my new go-to and I’m 100% happy with the service and result. Also, I highly recommend Andy; you won’t be disappointed.
